The program is an advanced study of teaching practice, techniques, postures, philosophy, meditation and pranayama.
The 300hr yoga course builds on the knowledge and subjects covered in the first level.
By completing the 300 Hour on top of your your 200 Hour yoga instructor certification course you are eligible to be a RYT 500 registered yoga teacher which is the highest qualification as a yoga instructor.
The set standards of Yoga Alliance apply to the curriculum.

The Business of Yoga
Physical anatomy & bodily systems, applying this knowledge to yoga.
Energy body works, the study of the chakras and nadis (energy channels).
Study of traditional texts revealing yoga philosophies.
The yoga lifestyle, concepts of dharma and karma.
Practice teaching as the lead instructor without feedback.
Observing others doing the same and sharing feedback afterwards.
The elective hours of the course are 170 of the total 300 hours.
This is what makes each course different.
All registered yoga schools will include other content areas and activities which make their Training unique.
The most common course to find is Hatha as it is the most popular yoga style, although there are many styles and multi-style combinations and course emphasis.
Hatha mixed with Vinyasa is very popular, as is a singularly focused Vinyasa, or an Ashtanga and/or Vinyasa training.
There are schools that focus on Meditation, that put a great focus on the skill, deepening the connection to the spiritual side. Or Therapeutic programs which will include Ayurveda and Nutrition.
Most programs are a mix of yoga disciplines and styles. Most of us love to mix our yoga, enjoying the heat of Ashtanga and/or Vinyasa, or the hot of Bikram or Power Yoga; and the longer-held poses and slow stretching of Restorative and/or Yin Yoga.
Then there are trainings with a focus on Iyengar, Kundalini or Tantra Yoga.
Many styles and disciplines can be practiced together in one course, you could find one that includes Aerial or Acroyoga, Yoga Nidra and the Energy work of Kundalini and Tantra.
