1. Lake Atitlan
The lake is surrounded by 3 volcanos which makes for a stunning backdrop.
There's lots to do on it's shore with villages dotted around.
You can kayak the lake or witness an authentic Mayan ceremony at the Sacred Caves.
And there are six other Mayan villages to visit around the lake.

Great exercise pre-dawn for a beautiful sunrise.
3. Natural Hot springs
In the volcano areas there are the most awesome hot springs to jump between.
Rich in natural minerals and a wonderful treatment for your skin.
4. Chichicastenango - for its authentic and colourful market
The intensive yoga courses generally last for one month. Some can be shorter.
The day will start early and finish early evening, with rest breaks and lunch.
The evenings will be your own.
One day off a week will provide the time to relax, recharge and contemplate the week just passed, and the week ahead on this life changing experience.
Most yoga schools ask for one year practice, some may accept 6 months.
