Learn classic yoga based on Yoga Sutras 8 limbs of yoga. The Krishnamacharya parameters for sequencing vinyasa are the roots of this training.

To help you to be a well-rounded practitioner or teacher, your training will also include instruction on Hatha yoga, Children’s yoga, Restorative yoga and Pre-natal yoga as well as working with Seniors.

The curriculum has been reviewed and approved by the Yoga Alliance and actually exceeds the number of hours needed for an RYT-200 registration.

The advantage of this training is that it is offered in a working yoga shala. You will have hands-on experience assisting students in the community classes.

You will learn a great deal about teaching methodology by being involved in these classes and creating/giving classes of your own.

By the time you graduate, you will have gained valuable teaching experience so when you sit in front of your students, you are ready!

Your payment includes your training manual and Mudras and use of a yoga mat if needed during your training.

You will also receive free public classes during training, free public workshops during the training time, 2 kirtan/meditations per week, a group activity, and your teaching certificate.

Location

Jalisco, Mexico

Jungle-covered mountains tumbling into the sea create all kinds of neat coves and intimate beaches. In Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta is a resort town on Mexico’s Pacific coast; known for its beaches, water sports and robust nightlife scene. Located just 10 miles South of Puerto Vallarta International Airport, you will laze on the dazzling sandy beaches, browse in the quirky shops, nosh in the stylish restaurants and wander the picturesque central streets.

The Bay of Banderas is one of Mexico’s largest and one of the world’s deepest Bays, with recorded depths of more than 3,000 feet. Offering superb sport fishing for sailfish, marlin, tuna and other game fish, it’s home to dolphins, manta rays and even eccentric little seahorses – and a nursery for humpback whales.

Whether you're relaxing on the beach, testing the city's nightlife or checking out the stingrays in the bright blue waters, the pristine beauty of Bahía de Banderas will be the hallmark of your stay.

Food

There are more and more organic stores popping up daily. Just a few steps away is a mom and pop style restaurant with only 4 tables that makes juice or coconut water daily. They also offer very economical meals and snacks. They are flexible and can make almost whatever you want. Only 2 blocks away is a vegetarian restaurant with a daily buffet of vegan and vegetarian delights.

There are Tienditas - “little stores” 1 block away with fresh fruit, nuts, breads, beans, vegies and fresh tortillas daily. Often students who live nearby don’t need to go to a big market as they can find what they need at the tiendita. There are numerous juice stands, fruit stands and sandwich shops very nearby as well as a Starbucks only 5 minutes away by foot if you need a coffee or tea and some nice air-conditioning. The yoga school is in the center of it all. You will be able to find what you need very nearby.
