During this 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training, you will encounter a mindful vinyasa approach to asana that creates an intimate connection to breath and energy, guiding you through a deep exploration of self, allowing you to find your own voice to create and teach intelligently sequenced classes and workshops.

Cultivating personal wisdom and self love, the team will lead you in creating a strong foundation for powerful and safe classes. Threading the core teachings of yoga with elements of traditional Chinese medicine, Buddhist meditation and physical anatomy, set within a stimulating and nurturing environment inspiring deep personal experiences, teacher trainees gain a strong and purposeful understanding of how to begin their teaching path, and grow their yoga career.

You'll be learning the Mindful and Spacious Vinyasa Yoga sequence. It includes a setting of an intention at the beginning of the practice, pranayama, modified sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, twists, hip openers and inversions. The practice moves at a soft pace with a strong energetic flow, with influences of Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi and Chi Qung.

It will also include the exploration of asanas and modifications to best benefit the practitioner, including the use of props, pranayama bandha, and kriya with a strong emphasis in the mindfulness of the breath, the theory behind the practice where you will understand key components of Vinyasa, Kundalini, Restorative and applying them to practicums, and introduction to stillness, loving kindness and concentration and the structure of dharma talk. 

Through this, you will also develop an eye for alignment, master how to make verbal cues, and safe and smart hands-on adjustments, learn hands-on and energetic assists, know how to hold a safe place for your students, learn the art of sequencing, and develop your own teaching style. ​

In these classes, you will study physical, subtle anatomy, physiology of the body systems focusing on the spine, shoulder and hip joints and you will learn how to work with injuries, chronic pain, and many health conditions. You will also have an introduction to energetic channels, chakras, and meridians. All in all, this will help you experience yoga’s benefits and healing energies.

You will learn about the history of yoga, its foundations, the 8 Limb Path, its different types, and ethics for yoga teachers. You will also explore mindful eating, Ayurveda, and dietary considerations for self healing.

During this retreat you will learn compassionate communication and authenticity and you will understand professional ethics and the business of yoga. This includes developing your brand, engaging in social media, and developing a successful marketing platform. This will help in finding your unique niche among the diverse international yoga community.

You will teach a variety of mini-classes throughout the training with constructive feedback from your peers. The trainee observes and offers assistance in a class setting as well.


Upon completion of this retreat, you will be given a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certificate that allows you to teach globally.
