This program focuses on Hatha Yoga, with each instructor adding their background and teaching in other areas/types of yoga like Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Rega Therapy, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Meditation and more.
All teachers present their teachings in an open-minded and modern way, yet deeply preserving the respect for the ancient tradition of Yoga.
This is an intensive, 20 day program that meets and exceeds yoga alliance requirements. The training has small class sizes of 15-20 people maximum to ensure a deeply personal experience.
Methods of teaching are interactive, focusing on a fully immersive yoga experience, teaching, and group dynamics. This course includes methods of reflective self-analysis as well as a proper diet, all in a lovely, private eco-friendly resort.
There are many things that set this training apart; the center is a non-profit social venture and profits go directly back into community programs in Siem Reap.
During each training, they also donate a spot to a Cambodian student so they can become a licensed instructor and help to empower their community. The accommodation partner is also a non-profit venture, the first non-profit hotel in Cambodia.
All students are also eligible for a 20hr add-on yoga therapy course upon completing of the training. This course runs for three additional days after the 200 hour course is complete.

Madhav is an Indian yoga teacher who is born and raised in a traditional way. The yogic traditions that go to back to the ancient times are something he learned throughout childhood as part of his heritage. He has vast education and experience in fields related to yoga such as Philosophy, Sanskrit, Hindi, Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Pranic Healing, Reflexology and a Masters Degree in Yoga and Meditation. Madhav has traveled and worked with students all over the world and is especially known for his Teacher Training role as a lead teacher in Yoga Ashram, India. In his teachings, he deeply focuses on passing the ancient truth and traditions of yoga while maintaining a modern approach by guiding students by developing self discipline in areas such as spirituality, mental strength, physical movement and awareness.
Amanda Evans has been teacher and therapist for over 30 years in the health and wellness industry. Her background is in the arts, beginning as a professional dancer, then as a writer and poet. As a body worker she has worked in body conditioning, yoga massage and aromatherapy. As an artist she has worked as a creative writing facilitator and has taught dance and drama in therapeutic community settings throughout her career.
She considers herself a humanitarian worker who aims to use the creative skills she brings to teaching yoga to help elevate, motivate and inspire her students and groups. Her group work has spanned many diverse life experiences working within communities of refugees, asylum seekers, women in prison, women with substance abuse addiction, children at risk and people who have suffered trauma to name a few.
Amanda recently gained her ‘Elder” status with The Independent Yoga Network, 5000 hours and is continuing to study and research with The American Centre for Vedic Studies in Yoga, Ayurveda, Chanting and Mantra. Whilst finishing her Yoga Therapist qualification with The British School of Yoga Amanda holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Storytelling and Story Making in Therapy and Education.
She studied yoga for three years with The British Wheel of Yoga gaining a Teaching Diploma, 20 years ago and has been a full time yoga teacher and therapist since then.
Amanda’s trainings are unique and rich in creative learning, using movement medicine to help her students embody her teachings and incorporates visual art, music and drama (creative role play) to assist in making sense of academic theory, history, philosophy and the science of authentic yoga as a whole school of life.
Laurie ‘ Lady Yoga’ Searle is a Certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT), has been teaching yoga, fitness training (NASM), massage therapist and ayurvedic lifestyle coach for almost two decades, leads teacher trainings nationally & internationally through her school, Firefly Yoga & Massage & is the founder of F.E.D. Fight Eating Disorders, a non-profit, offering assistance for those suffering from eating disorders. Based in Santa Monica, CA, she is a journalist, actor and creator/writer of the comic strip and animations of Lady Yoga Superhero and the host of ‘Yoga Quickies’ on YouTube.
HOURS + TOPICS
This is an intensive teacher training course that meets all Yoga Alliance requirements with only 20 days of classes. You will cover: Practicum: 10 hours, Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers: 20 hours, Teaching Methodology: 15 hours, Techniques, Training and Practice: 75 hours, Anatomy and Physiology: 10 hours, Practice – 45 Hours and Self Study Projects – 25 hours.
Upon completion of the course students will be awarded with a 200 hour yoga teacher certification. This enables students to teach yoga globally.
