200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa Healing & Plant Yoga Training

This training is unique in it's focus on the energy of the body, intuitive flow, and nutrition.


Students partake in a 4 day Fasting and colon cleanse detox ahead of the training. 


During the training learn yoga history, anatomy, key muscles of yoga, the fascial system, chakras, principles of herbology, nutrition, raw food cooking class, teaching techniques, and get a strong basis for self-practice. 


Pranayama (breathing techniques) and kriyas (cleansing exercises) will be practiced daily.


Immerse in Ashtanga Vinyasa, in addition practicing Moon and Yin sessions that will be weaved into the course. 


These two distinct but complementary styles of yoga will bring balance to your practice by combining an active (Yang) and a passive (Yin) practice.

With meditative Yin yoga learn how to create a sequence that is deeply  nourishing and guide students in a gentle transition from one asana  (pose) to another by flowing seamlessly into a contemplative practice.


Through breath, the rhythm of the count, and movement you will build a deep focus  which manifests as a state of tranquility in the mind.


Get to know the  art of Vinyasa Flow (Tristana), learn perfect alignment in each pose, and discover  the joy of teaching challenging transitions.


Experience dynamic meditation through movement and find  an equilibrium between mind, body, and soul. 


Learn the art of intuitive touch and technical adjustment and understand how bodywork can become a vehicle for spiritual transformation.


Bringing in concepts of herbalism and plant medicine you will learn to take healing back into your own hands. 


Using the plants, roots, and flowers that have been gifted to mankind to provide the body with all that it needs. 


Learn how to provide healing for all the chakras and heal the body by using nourishing, cleansing, and adaptogenic herbs. 


You will learn how to create sacred space and bring ancient practices back into modern day life.

In joining this training you will embark on a journey of  transformation and benefit from everything on offer by learning to teach yoga in an environment dedicated to peace and well-being.

Koh Phangan, Thailand

Koh Phangan is a tropical paradise island in the Gulf of Thailand. With no airport, only ferries to neighbouring islands or the mainland, it retains its old-world charm and beauty.

If you are not in a hurry then trains and buses run down from Bangkok with ferry connections.

Your training includes two (breakfast and lunch) nourishing vegan meals daily served buffet-style. The enthusiastic and passionate staff aim to teach people how to eat consciously and bring about planetary change through a plant-based vegan diet. Choose a simple life in a rustic bamboo hut, equipped with a queen sized bed, a fan and hot water shower. Situated in the garden, a few steps away from the restaurant, beach, yoga shala and sauna area, this room is a typical Koh Phangan bamboo hut. Personal space approximately 14 square meters, plus private terrace of approximately 5.5 square meters.

Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

Gain a deep insight into the sequencing of Sun Salutations, Finishing postures, Vinyasa and floating through transitions, the art of adjusting, back bend clinic, inversion clinic and Yin. You will learn how to apply breath during asana, the concept of bandas and dristi points as well as mantra, kriyas and meditation. Inversions are covered as well as safe alignment, muscle engagement and asana safety. 


Focuses on the key yoga muscles, the main systems of the body and how they work and relate to one another in yoga asana, pranayama and mediation. You'll also learn about the Meridian Theory and 7 Chakras System.

An in-depth introduction of yoga philosophy including the 8 limbs of yoga, the Yamas & Niyama’s and Sutras. Students also learn about Sanskrit, ethics, the role of a yoga teacher and about the concept of Ahimsa.

Additional ceremonies and classes for students include a Orion Reiki course, Plant-based food course, Nutritional lectures, the yamas and niyamas of food ahimsa and the plant-based vegan diet. You will learn how being healthy and thriving is a crucial part of the healing of mother earth.

During there lectures, student will learn about creating sacred space, call in the directions, which herbs are for use with the chakras. They will also learn about using blessing herbs, cleansing herbs, nourishing herbs and using herbs as a form of peaceful resistance. Soma and Tea ceremony is also included.

Certification

Full attendance, practicum and written/practical assignments must be completed to gain certification. Upon completion you will be awarded with a 200hr Yoga Alliance approved teaching certificate that allows you to teach globally.
