You will follow a well-rounded syllabus, focusing on Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation.

Learn the core principles of the Hatha Yoga & Ashtanga Vinyasa Series and master the steps to do your asanas confidently - from the traditional sun salutations to detailed structuring of different postures. You will also attend workshops on the art of alignment and adjustment.

Let your body and mind fully relax! You’ll be focusing on both full body relaxation techniques and emotional body relaxation. You’ll also learn about many different ways to meditate, from chakra and mantra meditation to walking meditation, just to name a few! Yoga Nidra is also offered to remove mental pressure and ease your sleeping. 

It all starts with breathing. You will find out all about the importance of yogic breathing, the science behind it, and how it can lessen stress levels and achieve emotional purification.

Awaken energy by learning all about the yogic gestures. Not only will you learn about external gestures like the eye and finger mudras, but also about the importance of internal gestures.

An extensive overview about the history and origin of yoga, letting you explore many different types of yoga. Expand your knowledge about the relationship between mind and body. This also serves as your introduction to Ayurvedic science as well as yogic terms and definitions.

Learn how to create positive vibration and energy through mantras. Find out all about OM and the importance of tantras and mantras for energy, wisdom, and fearless leaving.

Learn how to practice safely and understand the physiology of asanas and pranayamas. Discover how yoga can help with common disease such as colds and migraines, as well diabetes, thyroid issues, obesity and back problems.

Certain workshops will be provided to improve your  hip opening, back bending, forward bending and twisting postures.

Meditation can do wonders for both the body and soul. Discover its benefits and the proper techniques of meditation for breath, chakra and mantra awareness, full moon, inner light, body-less, third eye, and walking.  


Once completed you are eligible to get register with Yoga Alliance. Upon successful completion, students will receive a 200Hr Teacher Certification accredited by Yoga Alliance. This allows you to teach globally.

Free Time

Besides the extensive yogic programs, students are taken for excursions on Sunday. These include trekking, river rafting or site seeing in the lush mountains to enjoy few hours of leisure time. You will be exposed to the culture of India and an insight of the Himalayan temples and caves. These will be the most cherished moments for you to enjoy and serve the bountiful beauty of nature and the rich Indian culture and tradition. While in RIshikesh, seize the opportunity to walk on the streets and get henna tattoos, listen to street musicians and witness the daily sunset fire ritual at the banks of the sacred Ganges.


Ayurvedic trained chefs will be preparing delicious and nutritious ashram cooked food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All food follows your yoga regime, complementing the requirements of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. During your stay, you’ll be always sure you’re on an healthy vegetarian invigorating regime, based on holistic and balanced meals. Preference is given to soups, fresh juices and lot of drinking water. Alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited.

A note on local cuisine: it is said that North Indians take their food seriously! When compared to other parts of India, the northern cuisine is generally richer and some local dishes can take long hours to prepare. North India is also home to some of the most delicious Indian comfort foods like dal tadka, a popular recipe made with cooked lentils and tempered with fried spices and herbs.

Rishikesh, India

Swarg Ashram is a beautiful spiritual community located south of Lakshman Jhula along the path of the east bank of the Ganges River. It is made up of temples, ashrams, bazaar, sadhus and the bathing ghats where religious ceremonies are performed at sunrise and sunset.

You’ll see ganga aarti, light ceremony, held at the riverside temple of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram every night, celebrated with singing, chanting, musicians and lighting of candles. This famous pilgrimage spot is also noted for its traditional and cultural performances, exotic cuisine and many other enriching unique factors. The area is also an interesting places for those who enjoy adventure such as hiking and white water rafting.

The Jolly Grant airport at Dehradun is the nearest airport to Rishikesh which is approximately 35 kilometres away. Once you reach the airport, you can opt for regular taxi or bus service which is easily available from Dehradun to Rishikesh. The second nearest international airport for Rishikesh is in New Delhi which is well-connected with different cities across the globe.
