The other option is to take the shuttle from San Jose. Approximate travel time is 5.5 hours including a ferry ride into Puntarenas. While it might take a bit more time to reach Anamaya than other locations, this stunning region of the Nicoya Peninsula is a tropical paradise worth the journey.
