24 Day 200hr Women's Self Care Yoga Teacher Training

This unique 200hr yoga teacher training is for female therapists, psychologists, yoga teachers and all women interested in learning a self-care program designed specifically for women. You will leave this training feeling clear, revitalized, supported and inspired. The skills, techniques and creativity cultivated in this training will become a gift to share with your female clients, patients, students, family and friends.

The training includes daily meditation, breath-work and movement practices, nourishing daily lunch, in depth Women’s Self-Care Training Manual, 20 minute one-on-one sessions with Emily and mentors, 6 weeks of pre-training teachings with Emily via Facebook Group, 4 weeks of support & integration post-training with Emily via Facebook Group, professional education on women’s psychology, physicality & spirituality, free time to relax and socialize, certification through High Vibe Yoga & Yoga Alliance International to teach Women’s SelfCare Informed Yoga – with refinements in women’s psychology, sexuality & spirituality.

Requirements

Participation in a pre-training Facebook Group preparation tasks. The training Facebook Group begins 6 weeks prior to the training start date and includes weekly preparatory tasks for the training. Some tasks will require the below reading requirements. You must have a Facebook account to participate. New applications are welcomed during this time. The Facebook Group can be joined at anytime as long as the tasks are completed by the final day of the training. Required for certification. There is also required and recommended reading.

Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

Movement, breath and sound for the female body, mind and spirit including asanas, pranayama, meditation & mantra. Analytical training in how to teach and practice the techniques and guided practice of the techniques themselves. Exceeds daily International Yoga Alliance requirements in: Female anatomy, philosophy, asana, meditation, pranayama, practicum and ethics.

Includes principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, instruction, teaching styles, qualities of a teacher, the student’s process of learning and business aspects of teaching yoga.

Includes both female anatomy, sexual anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.). Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc)

Includes the study of Tantric philosophies, self care lifestyle and self empowering ethics. 

Includes practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing others teaching and hearing and giving feedback. Also includes assisting students while someone else is teaching.

Reading, self practice, writing, etc. Hours accumulated outside of teacher training hours as ‘non-contact’ hours.

Certification

You will receive a 200 International Yoga Alliance Certificate that registers you as a 200 hour yoga teacher. This certification allows you to teach yoga globally.

TIME OFF Ubud is known to be a cultural hub for tourists, being home to many cultural artifacts and ancient palaces. Visit the Elephant Cave, Tegallalang Rice Terraces, Puri Saren Royal Palace, and many more. The place is also teeming with life and a little exploration can help you widen your insight on different cultures and nature. If youre looking for some quiet down time, simply relax in the beautiful pool area or try a local Balinese massage. There are wonderful cafes and plenty of 'yogi' culture in this beautiful Balinese village.

The Yoga Barn was created by its founders for the sole purpose of bringing together community and giving back to the island of Bali. Located in the heart of Ubud, Bali's cultural hub, The Yoga Barn is Asia's full service yoga studio and holistic healing retreat centre. 

The Yoga Barn's buildings have an indigenous Balinese feel to them. As a center dedicated to healing and renewal, The Yoga Barn provides a lush and inspiring environment for the nourishment of body, mind and soul. The programming team at The Yoga Barn has created a mosaic of diverse programs of the highest quality, taught by a local and international faculty. Daily classes and workshops range from traditional yoga styles of Classical Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Power, Pranayama, Restorative, Iyengar, Yin & Anusara. Other modalities include Meditation, Sound Medicine, Kirtan and Ecstatic Dance.


Ubud is located in the centre of Bali and is well known for its green rice fields, peaceful tranquility and art and cultural scene. The best way to reach Bali is to fly into Denpasar Airport, which is located on the southern tip of the island. From there you can arrange a driver or shuttle to reach Ubud. The journey is around 60-90 minutes and simply instruct your driver to The Yoga Barn in Ubud.

Food

A delicious healthy brunch awaits you each day after morning practice. Expect plenty of western favourites such as fresh tropical fruits, granola, yogurt, wholemeal baked goods, as well as traditional Indonesian inspired cuisine. Your remaining meals can be enjoyed at any of the surrounding food venues- there is plenty of choice! Ubud is well known as being a foodies hub with many healthy restaurants, vegan and raw cafes and also traditional Indonesian warungs. You will love exploring the village and finding culinary delights around every corner. Indonesian food is characterized by vibrancy and flavor, diverse in the different regions. Vegetarian meals are comprised of steamed vegetables, tofu, and seasonings, giving you a rich taste and plenty of nourishment. There is an onsite cafe at The Yoga Barn which serves mouthwatering healthy food- you may not stroll any further than this lush jungle cafe!
