24 Day 200Hr Multi-Style Therapeutic Yoga Training

Join a comprehensive Yoga Teacher training program for 200 hours in Goa. The course is registered with Yoga Alliance and is offered by excellent teaching staff with a thorough syllabus.

In this course you will learn 4 styles of yoga that will create the best foundation for being a yoga teacher in today’s world- Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Therapeutic Yoga. You will also learn the hidden treasures of Meditation as well as Mudras, Pranayama and even Ayurveda and Vedic Gazing. The teachings are not limited to just the transmission of theory but in fact are a process for illuminating the soul. Guru Mahi himself inspects the progress of every student and identifies the right time when a student is ready for more complex asanas and next level of yoga. Students interested in getting to know the philosophical aspect of yoga can do so in special sessions held by Guru Mahi. The attention to detail in this course is what sets it apart from other trainings, offering you a profound yoga experience.

Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

Learn the four styles of yoga; Hatha, Vinyasa, Yoga Theraphy, Ashtanga as taught by Mahi Yoga

You will learn about active and inactive meditations, ancient techniques and techniques for the modern man/woman, explore different styles of meditation including Chakra Meditations, Kundalini Meditations, Third Eye Meditations, Sufi Meditations and more.

Learn different breathing techniques as well as various cleansing rituals and kriyas.

Students will learn about the history of yoga, yogic lifestyle, 8 Limbs of yoga, spiritual and philosophical values of yoga with modern day lifestyle challenges.

Learn about Sequencing and how to put together a great flow class. Learn how to speak infront of a group with confidence and find your inner teacher voice. You will also learn how to adjust.

Explore the 11 systems of the body, body mechanics and how to work with different body Injuries and illnesses.

Certification

Student must have full attendance, and pass both written and practical exams to receive their 200Hr RYS Yoga Alliance approved certification.

The Mahi Goa center is nestled away in the country side. It offers the perfect balance of tranquillity, nature and vibrancy of culture in the surroundings.

All yoga programs are offered in Arambol, Goa which the main centre. The Goa centre has a serene and scenic environment which naturally enhances the learning atmosphere. While in Arambol, Goa the blue water and golden sand make for a picturesque backdrop for doing Yoga.

The center offers lodging facility to all students in line with the vedic principles. Each accommodation has attached bathrooms and other amenities necessary for a comfortable stay.

The easiest way to get to Arambol is by plane. Fly to Dabolim International Airport and from there take a taxi to Arambol, which takes approximately one hour and forty five minutes to reach your destination.

Serving plenty of variety Indian yogic cuisine with wonderful flavors, the food is healthy and hearty with a great selection of local fruits and spices.

The food menu includes Indian dishes such as Dal, Palak Paneer and rice with healthy and fresh salads. Enjoy food that will nourish the body and calm the mind. As you learn about Ayurveda, you will enjoy the balancing meals and how the use of various flavours and spices can be used to maintain good health and wellbeing.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS TRAINING

Goa is one of my favorite place i have been to and a place i will always remember as i myself started my yoga journey there. Goa is buzzing of yogis and cute little coffee places. It's got beautiful long sandy beaches and clear blue seas to cool off in, in between your studies, very affordable food and great markets where you can find anything from hammocks, colorful sarongs and hand made bed covers. This is definitely not a place to miss!

A traditional fisherman village, the Arambol Beach is a pristine and secluded beach in the North Goa and can be approached by a winding road through the groove of cashew trees. It is a rocky as well as sandy beach and has a fresh water lagoon which extends along the bottom of the valley into a thick jungle. The lake is fed by boiling hot springs and is lined with sulfurous mud which people love applying on their body to do wonders to their skin.

The Arambol Beach extends over 16 km and consists of two beaches, more popular is the main beach known as Harmal beach, the northern beach in Goa. The second beach lies beyond the rocky circlet and can only be reached on foot and is bordered by steep cliffs on both sides. The main beach is long stretch of curving sand and is good for swimming.

The easiest way to get to Arambol is by plane. Fly to Dabolim International Airport and from there take a taxi to Arambol, which takes approximately forty five minutes.
