33 Day 200hr Vinyasa Teacher Training In Chiang Mai

Join an authentic and inspiring 200 hour yoga teacher training. Begin your yoga training journey with an initial urban experience at Wild Rose Yoga Studio and explore the soul of Chiang Mai’s Old City in Thailand. You will then end the last segment of the training with 5 days at the beautiful Mala Dhara, a beautiful retreat center amidst the rice paddies and green lush hills.

Through this training you will unveil the authentic teacher within. You will find the skills, courage and steadiness of spirit to go out into the world and offer your very best.
Yoga is not about perfection or advanced asana practice. Asana is only the tip of the iceberg in this training. You will learn about the multi-dimensional elements of yoga and how to cultivate your skills and strengths as a yoga teacher.
Let yourself be guided by a supportive community as you unveil the yoga teacher that already resides within you. The training is a comprehensive alignment-based Hatha and Vinyasa style training with progressive teaching practice. Week by week you will learn new skills, integrate them into your practice and build up the confidence to uncover your unique offering as a teacher.

The curriculum includes Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Applied Anatomy, Safe Structural Alignment, Intelligent Sequencing, Hands on Adjustments, Yoga and Buddhist Philosophy, Bhakti Yoga, Voice Expression, Conscious Communication and Personal Development Skills.

The courses covers 100hrs of Asana, Pranayama, Mantra and Meditation, 20 hrs of Applied Anatomy, 25 hrs of Safe Structural Alignment, Hands on Adjustments, Teaching Methodology and Intelligent Sequencing, 25 hrs of progressively more challenging practicums to learn the art of teaching through observation, practice and assisting and 30 hrs of Yoga Philosophy and Ethics.

Additional course content includes Bhakti Yoga, Yin Yoga and the meridians, Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness, voice expression, conscious communication, weekly sharing circles, and Dharma talks from guest teachers.


At the completion of the training you will gain a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification approved by Yoga Alliance International. This will allow you to teach yoga globally as a RYT200.

TIME OFF The training runs Monday to Friday for five weeks with an occasional half day on Saturdays. Sunday evening there is also a special Bhakti Yoga Class. In your spare time you are welcome to explore the beautiful city and region of Chaingmai- there is plenty to do from markets to nature excursions, cafes and sight seeing the Old City. Chiangmai is a safe region and easy to travel around by foot, bike or publish transport.

Venue   Wild Rose Yoga Studio

The Wild Rose Yoga Studio is a beautiful yoga space right in the center of old town Chiangmai. Daily classes are on offer as well as workshops and teacher trainings. This is a popular space for tourists, expats and locals to come to enjoy yoga and various classes and styles are on offer to appeal to all. 

The studio is surrounded by plenty of accommodation options with many guests houses in the areas within walking distance. There are also many cafes and places to eat and shop all very close by the studio. 

The "rose" of the North of Thailand is the perfect place to experience real Thailand with its many local markets, local handicraft and artists. Spiritual life is everywhere here. As you walk through the many little flowery alleys, it seems like each street has its own temple. In the early morning, the monks color the streets in orange as they bless the locals.

Surrounded by green lush mountains, Chiang Mai is a great hub to get into nature. Just 15 min from the old city, you can be in the jungle and enjoy the peace and quiet. During the training, you can easily organise a weekend trip to Pai, Chiang Rai, Chiang Dao or the Mae Ngad Dam, all beautiful destinations in nature.

Non Residential


Meals are not included in the training but Chaingmai has endless options to eat and has a very bustling healthy food and vegan food scene! Enjoy traditional Thai flavours as well as plenty of western favourites. Food is very inexpensive and the local markets also offer plenty of great places to eat. Juices, smoothies, coffees and snacks are also easy to come by and small supermarkets will provide you with options if you wish to cook for yourself during the training.

Chiang Mai is the hub of Northern Thailand and the capital city of the same name. Thailand's fifth largest city, Chiang Mai is surrounded by mountains and lush countryside. It has vast green landscapes and is a much more quiet place with a cosmopolitan air. It serves as an escape from the fast paced life of its southern rival.

Chiang Mai is home of more than 300 temples with a dozen standouts of historical or architectural significance within walking distance of each other. Buddhist temples in Chiang Mai exhibit a mixture of Lanna Thai, Burmese, Sri Lankan and Mon architectural styles that reflect the varied heritage of Northern Thailand.

There are also many art galleries and exhibitions in Chiang Mai, featuring contemporary artwork of both local Thai and Myanmar artists. You can visit Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre, Chiang Mai National Museum, or Chiang Mai Numismatic Museum for amazing art.

Chiang Mai International Airport handles both domestic and regional international flights. The airport is some 3 km southwest of the city center, only 10-15 minutes away by car.
