Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

Two types of yoga- Vinyasa Flow and Hatha will be studied in depth. You'll have a chance to learn, practice and teach two specific sequences derived from these styles.

An essential aspect of yoga, you'll learn the daily practice of pranayama also known as breath extension. Different types of pranayama will affect the state of mind differently. Various techniques will be introduced.

Daily meditation will be implemented along with yoga postures. You'll be introduced to different types of concentration exercises which will lead to a state of meditation with consistent practice.

Learn about both the human physical anatomy and physiology and application of its principles to yoga practice.

A prominent text in yoga, the Yoga Sutra by Patanjali explores the human minds and the guidelines to Samadhi (Absorption to the Universe). An introduction of the 8 limbs path of Ashtanga will be explored here.

Dive into the ancient history of yoga. You'll gain insights on the lineage of yoga from the Vedas, Upanishads to modern yoga.

Study and learn the principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, instruction and different teaching styles.

Put yourself to practice with sessions of practicing teaching among your peers.

Certification

This Yoga Teacher Training Course is recognised by Yoga Alliance. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate and you will be able to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).

The Zen Den Yoga School Wellness and Retreat Center is an open and inviting Florida yoga retreat in the heart of the sunny, tri-county area. Located just a bike ride from the beaches, guests of the Center will be treated to a full and enlightening yoga wellness schedule and have access to world class amenities.


It is a peaceful place located central to Boca Raton, Florida attractions. The Center offers retreat guests lots of great amenities to pamper themselves and relax or plenty of beautiful scenery and activities to explore. The retreat is equipped with a pool, hot tub, meditation room, full kitchen stocked with a Vita Mix, golf putting green, vegetable gardens, tree house and bicycles for guests. WiFi access is available for all guests.
