24 Day 200-hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training

Summary

This 24 day Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training course is completely dedicated to offering vinyasa flow teachings. During the course, students will be dedicated to a Vinyasa Flow practice and syllabus, and remaining hours in other yoga subjects required by Yoga Alliance.

Vinyasa Krama Yoga is an ancient practice of physical and spiritual development. It is a systematic method to study, practice, teach, and adapt yoga. This vinyasa krama approach to yoga asana is unique. By integrating the functions of mind, body, and breath at the same time, a practitioner will experience the real joy of a yoga practice.

Each of the postures is practiced with many vinyasas and each variation is linked to the next one by a succession of specific transitional movements, synchronized with the breath. The mind closely follows the slow, smooth, deliberate yogic breathing; and the yoking of mind and body takes place with the breath acting as the harness.

This is a professional and comprehensive program which is designed by accomplished yoga masters who have completed their own personal self-study in order to provide the best teachings to all students.

The course offers detailed teachings on asana, meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy and physiology, alignment-adjustment, teaching methodology as well as fundamentals of Ayurveda and its importance in daily life.

Yoga philosophy in Sanskrit is called yoga darshan which means guiding students through the philosophy of life with the help of ancient yoga texts to the aim of yoga. The course imparts teachings of the mystic sage Patanjali’s ‘Patanjali yoga sutras’ which teaches students to learn how to live an appropriate life.

Mantras are sound vibrations that permeate every cell of your being and allow your mind to dissolve. Meditation is that which gives you deep rest. Meditation is an activity in which the practitioner just sits and allows the mind to dissolve. The rest in meditation is deeper than the deepest sleep that you can ever have. When the mind becomes free from agitation, it is calm and serene and at peace, here, meditation happens.

The prana creates an aura around the body. It flows through thousands of subtle energy channels called ‘nadis’ and energy centers called ‘chakras’. The quantity and quality of prana and the way it flows through the nadis and chakras determines one’s state of mind. If the prana level is high and its flow is continuous, smooth and steady, the mind remains calm, positive and enthusiastic.

Ayurveda is the ancient knowledge that indicates the very measure of life, advising on the appropriate and inappropriate, happy and sorrowful conditions of living, and recommending practices auspicious for longevity.

Learn all the poses related to Vinyasa Yoga and how to link these poses with special routines and following the flow of the breath to link the poses.

Rishikesh, India

Tapovan area is full of meadows, streams and flowering plants and the meadows are considered as one of the best high altitude meadows in India. The exquisite setting on the fast-flowing Ganges, surrounded by forested hills, is conducive for meditation and mind expansion. In the evening, an almost supernatural breeze blows down the valley, setting temple bells ringing as sadhus, pilgrims and tourists prepare for the nightly ganga aarti - a fire offering or ritual performed on the Ganges.

Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi (DEL) is the international airport that is closest to the schools in Rishikesh and Dharamsala. From there, you have several options to get to Rishikesh.
