21 Day 200hr Hatha Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training

Focusing on hatha and vinyasa flow, this YTT is designed for practitioners at any level, giving a strong foundation in the fundamentals of yoga practice and philosophy. The training focuses on safe asana practice with alignment and students practice to teach asana classes under the supervision of a main teacher.


This training aims to provide the correct knowledge of yoga to students who come from many different cultures so they can teach yoga successfully in their home countries or abroad. 


The program is student-centred and adapts to the needs of the group level. In the training the team will gradually develop the group’s asana practice to deeper level as you progress towards more advanced poses.

Being a serene beach one can see white-bellied fish eagles that live in the casuarinas trees at the Goa Mandrem beach. Sometimes even the famous Olive Ridley marine turtles have their hatching nests over here if the Morjim beach is overcrowded. Mandrem beach is also famous for its spectacular color full sunsets.

Mandrem beach is at a distance of only 32 kms away from capital city of Panjim, so you can take a local bus. If you choose to travel by the local buses of Goa, then first board a Mapusa bus. Then at Mapusa change and board into any of hourly buses that reach Mandrem village and Mandrem Beach.

By taxi, as soon as you land on Goan soil at the Goa International airport (GOI), you can get yourself comfortably into a local Taxi and leave for a ride of around 65 kms to reach the magnificent Mandrem beach in Pernem district of North Goa.

Food

Vegetarian meals in Goa are to be prepared with lots of spices and fresh greens and beans. Here you will be eating Malai Kofts, delicious vegetarian balls that are a scrumptious alternative to meatballs. Palak Paneer is a spinach and cottage cheese stew that is a popular choice amongst vegetarians. Rajma is their term for red kidney bean curry that is exploding with flavour, Beans and spices are a normal occurrence in meals and are usually served with steamed rice.

Meet The Facilitators

 

Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

Hatha and Vinyasa flow practice is scheduled in the morning and evening. You will be learning the sequence, benefits, precautions, and different variations and incorporating these into the practice and teaching. Students will practice teaching asanas with alignments and adjustments within the group.

Pavanmuktasana I, II, III is a series of practices used to warm up the body, release tension and stiffness in the joints and eliminates energy blockages in the spine.

Each pose will be taught separately with correct alignment and then in conjunction with the whole series, focusing on linking the poses together and coordinating the breath with the movement.

There will be a discussion and explanation of different body systems, how they are interrelated and how they are related to the yoga practice. The teachers will be explaining the 7 chakras and Kundalini energy and how one can start observing these subtle energy channels and bodies through Yoga and meditation practice.

Shatkriyas create balance in the body to maintain good health resulting to a healthier and lighter feeling, and a deepened yoga practice. Shatkriyas consist of six groups of purification practices.

Breath is the most vital process of the physical body, having a deep connection with your body, mind and emotions. Pranayama techniques expand your breathing, opening the door to physical, mental, emotional health and inner transformation.

The various Mudras and Bandhas will be practiced with an understanding of their practices.

There will be a discussion and explanation of yoga history, purpose of yoga, its origin and various yoga paths or styles. Yoga Philosophy is essential part of the training.

Understanding and studying Patanjali’s eight limbs of Yoga. They are ethics for teachers as well.

You will be introduced to Osho meditation which are playful and scientific techniques, combined with beautiful music.

Yoga nidra is guided by the teacher or audio recording which takes the participants into deep relaxation, releasing the tension for the body and mind.

It is important to follow ethics in Yoga job and business as a Yoga teacher. Marketing Yoga classes and job opportunities will be discussed.

Karma Yoga is a selfless action without expecting anything in return from people, community, or environment. You will be practicing Karma Yoga for 20 minutes a day by maintaining the Yoga Hall.

Certification

Upon completion of this teacher training, you will be entitled to a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certificate that will allow you to teach globally.
