22 Day 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training In Rishikesh India

This training is offered by a premier and traditional yoga school offering yoga certification courses based in the sacred land of Rishikesh. This 200Hr Training course offers an in-depth study of all kinds of techniques including asana, pranayama, yoga philosophy, anatomy, sequencing and adjustments. Develop a meditation practice for yourself as well as expand your knowledge, preparing to take your next steps as an inspiring yoga teacher. The asana style taught incorporates Sivananda, Ashtanga and Iyengar for a well-rounded and thorough training. 

Props are included into the asana practices to ensure correct alignment and posture. Sequencing, adjustments and yoga therapy are also covered to ensure you leave feeling confident in your ability to step before a class. This teacher training package includes your accommodations, all meals and filtered water, manual and supporting tools necessary for the course, airport pick up, wifi and your Yoga Alliance certification.

Rishikesh, a rambling suburb on banks of Ganges, is situated in foothills of Himalayas in the Northern India. This has been the residence of many sages and saints for ages. When the Beatles visited Maharishi Mahesh’s ashram, the town became well known to the whole world as a place of yoga and meditation.

Full attendance and passing of both written and practical exams will reward you with a 200Hr teaching certificate approved by yoga alliance.

TIME OFF You get one day off per week (Days may vary by the week). There are plenty of activities and adventures that you can attend on your time off. Rishikesh is a city rich in culture and spirit. Neo Yoga Center in Rishikesh is located in the peaceful and sacred place known as Yoga Niketan Trust, near the banks of River Ganges. Here there are numerous shrines, ancient Vedic schools and ashrams carrying the inheritance of Vedic culture.

Yoga Niketan is one of the oldest Yoga Ashrams in Rishikesh. It was established in the year 1964 by Yogacharya Swami Yogeshwarananda Saraswati Maharaj Ji with the sole purpose of spreading yogvidya and spirituality in the world.

The centre is well known for its comfortable living conditions and beautiful natural surroundings that allow students to stay relaxed and focused. The location allows students to gain an authentic Indian experience, immersed in the beautiful and spiritual town of Rishikesh. Students are encouraged to explore all that this beautiful location has to offer.

Yoga Niketan Ashram has approximately 100, well ventilated A/C, Non A/C and cooler rooms for the sadhaks. Each room has a private bathroom with 24 hours of hot and cold water and electricity. Laundry service is available twice a week on request.

The easiest way to reach Rishikesh by road is by bus. Public and private buses offer their services from straight Delhi to Rishikesh. The closest railway station is situated at Haridwar that is 24kms far from Rishikesh. If you are traveling by air, the closest airport is at the city of Dehradun, positioned 16 kms from Rishikesh. On arrival, you can hail taxi or bus to Rishikesh and onwards to the centre- Neo Yoga Centre Rishikesh.



In your training you will be served healthy vegetarian, vegan and ayurvedic food. Rishikesh is a purely vegetarian place by law. One would mostly find North Indian cuisine here, however South Indian, Italian, Nepali, Thai and Chinese cuisine are also available at some of the places.

Another standout in the area is the Ayurvedic food. The outlets offer a variety of healthy food items and teas as well as a complete ambience. You can also enjoy Jalebi, Imarti, Samosas, Thali as well as fresh and seasonal local fruits.

There is a short break for breakfast and healthy food is served for you to nourish yourself for rest of the morning. Lunch is served during the midday break with yogic and Ayurveda foods. A relaxing dinner is served at the end of the busy day allowing for rest and rejuvenation.
