Venue   The Plantation Villa
The Plantation Villa, Venue for 22 Day Panchakarma Ayurveda Retreat

The property consists of the main Villa and the Lodge, each about 2 minutes walking distance from each other. The Lodge is the original house of the first occupier of this colonial treasure. With time, their son built a bigger home to house his expanding family—the Villa.

The Villa consists of 8 rooms (2 Suite Rooms and 6 Deluxe Rooms) and the Dining Hall, Lounge, Verandahs and Spa. The Lodge consists of 6 Standard rooms and an open Verandah. Both the Villa and the Lodge were renovated at the end of 2015 and is now decorated to contemporary colonial style to complement both the age of the property and the modern needs of their guests.

The villa offers visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy a customized retreat and an authentic rural Sri Lankan experience. The property only contain 8 rooms so it gives staff an opportunity to care for each of you in a very personalised manner whilst taking you on a journey to improve your wellbeing.

The plantation has a rainforest atmosphere and its own natural waterfall. The property spans 30 acres with Rubber, Mahogany, Coconut and Black Pepper plantations. The hotel villa is surrounded by nature and is a habitat for rare local and migrant birds, butterflies and a plethora of tropical flora and fauna. The resort actively participates and pursues conservation activities, growing a large number of plants indigenous to Sri Lanka that are now critically endangered.

The team of Doctors and Therapists have over 17 years experience in Ayurveda. Additionally, the center works closely with qualified coaches, healers, meditation masters, clinical psychologists, yoga instructors and teacher trainers from around the world, to offer you a complete and comprehensive rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit.

In the true sense of Sri Lankan village hospitality, the staff are always ready and waiting to please. This offers a level of personalised care, genuine compassion and consideration for wellbeing that larger resorts simply cannot provide.

To reach Kalutara, where the Plantation Villa is located, go on the A2 highway connecting Colombo, via Galle through to Wellawaya via Matara towns. There are many modes of transportation available, from buses to trains.
