Study the healing power of the body through the nature of the 5 elements.

The five elements are present in this Vinyasa yoga teacher training through a base sequence which is provided to the students.

This program applies concepts of physical and energetic anatomy, Ayurveda and Chinese medicine for the complete understanding of the sequence to be learned.

Daily activities based on body expression, simple ancestral rituals, and coaching techniques are held with the aim of opening new paths for the students to reconnect with themselves and find what’s unique in them.

The five elements dance within us as the expression of Nature that we are.

Yoga gives us the opportunity to balance them and thus connect with the essential, the pure, the instinctive.

Dancing with the five elements through yoga not only connects us to Nature but provides us with an organic way of balance our body, mind, and soul from the inside and out.

Moving the Nature that we are made of is what allows our essence to find a way to express itself.

All the tools that will be put into practice will be provided in an understandable way so that everyone can use them in their lessons and in their daily life. Some of the practices and meditations take place in nature to recharge and feel in depth the element emphasized.

The cost of this training includes accommodation in a cozy hostel and your course manuals.

Location

Canary Islands, Spain

Gran Canaria is one of Spain’s Canary Islands, off northwestern Africa. It's known for its black lava and white sand beaches. Its southern beaches include bustling Playa del Inglés and Puerto Rico as well as quieter Puerto de Mogán and San Agustín. In the north, capital city Las Palmas is a major stop for cruise ships.

Gran Canaria is the third-largest island in the Canaries’ archipelago, but accounts for almost half the population. It offers a dramatic variation of terrain, ranging from the green and leafy north to the desert in the south. In the centre, the sheer drama of the mountains more resembles the Tibetan highlands than a relatively small island. The rugged coastline is interspersed with white sandy beaches and popular holiday resorts. The volcanic landscapes, the unique Macaronesian flora and the extensive pine forests make Gran Canaria worthy of this great honour from UNESCO.

Gran Canaria can keep the adrenalin pumping, with scope for hiking, cycling and watersports, while cultural activities and sights are abundant in the historic cosmopolitan capital of Las Palmas. Sail out to watch whales, walk in the Canary pine forests, have fun at a water park, wander the shopping streets, visit museums, or just relax on a beautiful beach.

Gran Canaria is a fantastic family destination with almost 60 kilometres of beaches and a Biosphere Reserve in the west. It's a miniature continent where you'll find things to do that make every day special. Sail out to watch whales, walk in the Canary pine forests, have fun at a water park, wander its shopping streets, visit museums, or just relax on a beautiful beach.

Many airlines fly into the island from around Europe. If you wish to travel by boat to Gran Canaria from the Iberian Peninsula, there are several maritime companies just for this. Buses, taxis and car hire are all available on the island to get around easily.

Food

Meals are not included and you have the freedom to decide on your meals as you please. Las Palmas is a city where you can find all kinds of food at a great price. For breakfast the team recommend a wonderful bakery greatly located just 10 meters from the apartments and the Hostel and 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. It is located by the sea and offers delicious breakfast that you would have sitting by the sea for just €2-3. Nearby you will also find all kinds of supermarkets to buy food and you can taste many local restaurants of great quality at very affordable prices (also with vegetarian options).

All accommodations have fully equipped kitchens, except the hotel where you can stay in half board or full board and enjoy the delicious food in the restaurant- please let the team know upon booking if you would like this option.
