Boca Raton is a Spanish term, which means Mouse Mouth. This was derived from the shape of an inlet when the town was discovered. With a very distinct and posh architecture, the bright colors of orange and lighter shades of pink that emphasize its Old Spanish theme, will take you back to a time and place you’d surely like to be in.

Boca Raton is one of the most fun and active cities in South Florida. In a tropical setting, beautiful homes line the streets around long stretches of white beaches. With tons of waterfront on the intracoastal and Atlantic Ocean, you’ll find lots of biking paths, themed restaurants, shopping areas and a great night life. All within a 10 minute bike ride, guests will discover malls and museums, beaches, water sports, grocery stores, and lots of restaurants.

A well-landscaped city, Boca Raton has many attractions visitors can visit including the Boca Raton Museum of Art where you can discover good art in its permanent collection. There is also a myriad of nature centres in Boca Raton including the Gumbo Limbo Nature centre which is located just by the beach. Here you can see South Florida’s natural wildlife including a butterfly garden, a turtle rehab center and large saltwater tanks.

Boca Raton is 19 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport where shuttles are available and taxis are easily accessible.
