The curriculum includes a therapeutically oriented approach to yoga, multidimensional sequencing, anatomy-informed alignment concepts, a Yin yoga teacher training component with certificate, instructing level 2 poses, individualized mentoring, philosophy, meditation, pranayama, Ayurveda and so much more.


This Advanced YTT program is registered with Yoga Alliance includes 25 days of instruction with mentored home study and online support with downloadable content.
 

The program is scheduled as an intensive. While the days are very full, they are also a wonderful mix of digesting concepts intellectually, applying concepts experimentally and diving into the practices of Yoga. Care is taken within the program schedule to ensure that students have a healthy experience both physically and mentally. There is physical activity and deep relaxation built into the program every day.

Paros is among the most popular islands of Cyclades and is ideal for young people, romantic couples and families too. The Parian traditional villages, particularly Naoussa, Parikia and Lefkes, are perfect samples of Cycladic architecture, with whitewashed sugar houses, paved streets and blue-domed churches. The most common way to get to Paros is to fly to Athens, Santorini or Mykonos & then continue your trip with a ferry. This takes between approx 4 hours with the slowest boat from Athens up to 40 mins with the fastest boat from Mykonos.

HOURS + TOPICS

Throughout this advanced teacher training you will be going beyond the basics of asanas and explore the alchemy of yoga and positive transformation, therapeutic applications of yoga, sequencing to level 2 poses, yoga for healthy aging, sequences for active seniors and limited mobility seniors, applied anatomy and kinesiology and therapeutically oriented adaptations of yoga guiding, yoga Nidra, Yin and restorative yoga. 

The program will also tackle advanced verbal and physical assisting, enhancing your observation skills, energetic anatomy and prana viyda, practice and teaching of meditation and pranayama, non-dual yoga philosophy, life-affirming tantric philosophy, applying Ayurveda to the asanas and other practices, cultivation of your yoga vision and business, practice of asana, chanting, meditation, pranayama and yoga nidra.

Certification

Upon completion of this training, you will receive a RYS 300Hr Yoga Alliance Certification that will allow you to teach all over the globe. RYTs with a 200-hour certification will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-500 hour level upon successful completion of this program.

The program is an intensive training, but each day there will be time for you to swim, relax and enjoy a little down time. Greece delivers an ideal and perfect climate where countless opportunities exist to expand your senses and take in the elements of nature. The waters of Greece glisten in diverse shades of crystal blue, the golden sands lure you into space of deep relaxation and the ancient sites take you back in time. You can also come via boat from Athens. When you are in Paros, you can either catch the bus from Parikia (port of Paros) to Naousa and then a taxi to Okreblue, or a taxi straight to Okreblue.
