The 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India is for yoga teachers who have completed a 200 Hour Teacher Training. If you are interested to advance your personal practice, yogic wisdom and teaching skills to the highest level, this course will be the right fit. 

Besides the daily schedule, you will study about Ayurveda and learn to remove accumulated energy blocks through Emotional Blockage® Treatment.

The 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training demands a foundational knowledge, discipline and commitment. A large focus is put on correct alignment and teaching the knows and whys of modifications through the aid of props (bolster, wall, belt, block, pillow). You will be encouraged to create challenging and diverse classes. The correct adjustment, explanation and modification of postures maximize the students benefits.

During the course, yoga teacher training students get to create their own workshops and teach yoga to slum children in need. The yoga school supports various orphanages and NGOs in India to make yoga accessible to underprivileged children. The team consist of both Indian and European staff who know the importance of building a bridge between east and west. The teacher training students always feel safe and understood.

This yoga teacher training program covers the complete hatha and ashtanga asana practice. Influenced by great yogis you can expect to take your yoga practice to more advanced levels and elevate your teaching practice completely. During the teacher training, the asana practice will help you to increase mindful moving, breath awareness, physical and mental strength and refresh all asana Sanskrit names, meaning and benefit.

It is a practical healing therapy that was established by Swami Bipin Gyan, founder of the school, during his years in complete silence and meditation.

During the 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will learn how to receive the treatment, remove your own blockages and give this treatment to others.

Besides the practise, you will learn about emotions in general, the 50 body points and which emotions are stored in which part of the body.

According to the yogic scriptures, Prana is the force behind the state of existence. In us humans, it has manifested as breath. Through breath modification or control, we can attain countless physical and mental benefits. A regular practise induces a profound awakening of consciousness. During the 300 hour yoga teacher training you can expect to practise and teach more advanced pranayama techniques and expand your perceptions.

The daily meditation class aims to ground you and give you a chance to reflect yourself and learning outcomes. Various techniques are introduced during the teacher training which you will be able to teach at Meditation teaching practice. Learn how to incorporate meditative elements into your yoga class. You will cover mantra meditation, power of transformation meditation, awareness expansion, Kundalini meditative practice and Ancient Indian Meditation.

Understanding the philosophy behind yoga is as important as the practice itself. Studying the ancient concepts of Yoga according to Patanjali Yog Sutras, Baghavad Gita, Samkya Philosophy, Hatha Pradipika, Ashtanga and Kriya Yoga will allow you to shift your perspective and uncover the next layer of your yogic journey. During the teacher training, you will learn to advance your interpersonal communication skills and find the answers to your questions.

Applied Ayurveda means that you will move from your theoretical knowledge of Ayurveda into practice. During this class, you will learn how to make Ayurvedic liver detox tea, make Ayurvedic face and hair masks, Ayurvedic Gardening, Detox your body according to Ayurveda and make Tulsi and herbal Tea.
Karma Yoga means selfless action. Here you will take some actions for humanity and common wealth.

As the core intention of this teacher training program, you will learn how to improve your teaching skills and develop a unique way of expression. Your teachers will share secret tips and tricks on how to sequence, structure and design your class. You can expect to become an expert in creating the right setting and inspiring content for your students. Through props, alignment and theoretical elements, you will learn how to modify a class according to your students physical and mental condition.

Free Time

The 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training classes are held six days a week. On Sundays, you will have a time to relax and rejuvenate. You can choose between cultural outings, exploring nature & surroundings and sports activities like trekking in the Himalayas. One excursion is included in the course fee.


During your training, you will be served two delicious vegetarian meals per day – including Sundays (if required).

For Brunch (10:15AM), there will be tea, seasonal fruits, sweet or salty porridge, home-made coconut and soy milk, oats, Indian Breakfast (Poha or Paratha), home-made peanut butter and bread.

For Dinner (7:30PM) - seasonal vegetables, rice, chapati, pulses (dhal), soups and salads. Sometimes, we will serve some Western and sweet dishes for more variety.

Please inform the school about any allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions. Their cooks will be happy to prepare suitable meals for you. They cater for vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free as well. Meals are vegetarian only (No Meat, Egg or Fish).

Rishikesh is in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India. Scenically located where the Ganges River comes down from the Himalayas, Rishikesh is known as the World Capital of Yoga.

The 2 bridges just outside of town which cross the Ganges, Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula, are where all the action happens.

There is plenty to immerse yourself in in this holy city. Take a dip in the Ganges, with her healing powers, check into a retreat to immerse in yoga, meditation, wellness and Hindu philosophy. Or try White Water Rafting or Cliff Jumping if you feel adventurous.

There are lot of soft treks available around Rishikesh, some of them take you to beautiful and hidden waterfalls. There are also caves, temples, ashrams, local towns and markets. There are many wonderful places to eat and savour Indian cuisine and a hot fresh cup of chai tea. 

Rishikesh is in close proximity of Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport [15 kms]. There are multiple daily direct flights from Delhi which is the nearest international airport.

The Ashram in Rishikesh has 20 comfortable private and shared rooms. Each category has an attached bathroom and hot water. Some of the rooms have an attached balcony with a beautiful view as well.

The ashram is equipped with two big yoga shala with attached bathroom, restaurant, solar-panel system, roof-top terrace and sitting space.

The roof-top is decorated with plants that are used in Ayurveda including roses, turmeric, aloe vera and tulsi. From the terrace, yoga shala and restaurant, you can enjoy a beautiful 360° view to the national park and holy river. There is a small garden with plats, flowers and self-grown vegetables like corn and pumpkin.

The restaurant/dining hall – where buffet-style meals are served – is equipped with tables, benches & filtration system.

On saturdays, you can enjoy the movie nights. At the library lounge you can watch Bollywood movies or yoga documentaries.

The Ashram is surrounded by nature and provides the perfect setting for a yogic journey within. You will be able to listen to the birds and nature sounds while practising yoga.
