On this Yin Yoga Training you will work on your flexibility while you integrate the ancient wisdom of the acupuncture meridians and the chi flow in a mindful meditative yoga practice.

Yin yoga offers the challenge in finding our edge in the poses and then holding them for a long time. By doing so we practice Daoist mindfulness principles while reaching into our deepest level of fascial tension. We ride the edges of our sensations with a gentle flowing Dan Tien breath.

Here is a gateway to emotional healing and the releasing of energetic blockages. In the teacher training you will go on a journey through all the Daoist elements.

You will learn all about the ancient wisdom of the main acupuncture meridians and chi flow in the body. You will gain insight in each element and the correlating acupuncture meridians and organs. Find out more about their subconscious value and the applied body acupressure points and yin yoga poses to help balance those. Expand your knowledge by learning more about emotional healing and the releasing of energetic blockages in the asana.

You will get to know more of the additional tools and different meditation techniques to support the Yin Yoga process. You will gain insight into the power of visualisation and breath, yoga nidra, mantras, mudras and chakras.

To complete a basic understanding of yoga in all its variations you will also look into the Ayurvedic Dosha system and introduce different aspects of yoga philosophy and foundations like the Eight Limbs and Patanjalis yoga sutras.

At the end of each day there will be different meditations, acupuncture healing circle or a sound healing session, mindful nature walks and kirtans. And since its all about the balance you will also start your days with an active dynamic yang style yoga class.

Included in the course is specially prepared delicious vegetarian meals during training days, a chauffeured pickup from the airport, two complete printed manuals and your accommodation if you wish to stay onsite.

A traditional fisherman village, Arambol Beach is a pristine and secluded beach in North Goa and can be approached by a winding road through the grove of cashew trees. It is a rocky as well as sandy beach and has a fresh water lagoon which extends along the bottom of the valley into a thick jungle. The lake is fed by boiling hot springs and is lined with sulfurous mud which people love applying on their body to do wonders to their skin.

The Arambol Beach extends over 16 km and consists of two beaches, more popular is the main beach known as Harmal beach, a long stretch of curving sand and good for swimming. The second beach can only be reached on foot and is bordered by steep cliffs on both sides.

The easiest way to get to Arambol is by plane. Fly to Dabolim International Airport and from there take a taxi to Arambol, which takes approximately forty five minutes.

Food

During this training, you will be served a daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Saturday dinner and all meals on Sundays are excluded, so you can explore nice restaurants in the area. The meals are vegetarian, but eggs and dairy are served optional, no meat and no fish.
