28 Day 200-hour Hatha Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training


This 200- hour yoga teacher training programme introduces the question "What is yoga?" This question forms the basis of work for the 27-day course, where you will explore the postures of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga and introduce Sanskrit terms for each asana.

All students are put through an in-depth study of the fundamental traits of the human organism. Through the observation of Western science with Ayurveda you will be able to create a link between Eastern and Western ideologies, in such a way as to encourage an excellent connection with yourself.

Students learn yogic ethics, assistance and adaptation to oriental discipline, meditation and chanting of mantras. Come and discover the 5 miracles of your existence. 

No previous yoga teacher training certification is required to enroll on this course.

This intensive residential seminar for Yoga teachers, registered by the Yoga Alliance and lasting 200 hours, is intended for beginner and intermediate level Yoga practitioners. 

The student gains knowledge of Sanskrit terminologies, together with English terminology and is always encouraged to comprehend their meaning and to use the original version of the terms of this wonderful discipline which is Yoga.

Asana (physical position)

Yoga teachers who have completed all requirements for training and teaching experiences in accordance with the Yoga Alliance, USA, standards will be given a Certificate. Assessments will be based on written as well as practical evaluation. Student conduct and adherence to the Code of Conduct is part of your overall evaluation. Students must maintain a rate of 90% attendance for the duration of the course in order to qualify for final Assessment.

The "Monastery of San Girolamo" is a magnificent Renaissance monument wrapped in the majestic arms of centuries-old oaks. Finished in 1503 by Don Ghisello Vandini of the noble Vandini family, Capitani di Frontino can be defined as from the Renaissance period.

Inside you can find the magic of history, through a blissful silence that only the atmosphere of ancient times can help us to re- live. A fantastic opportunity for Yoga and group meditation, without neglecting the possibility of guaranteeing truly intimate and personal moments.​
The monastery of San Girolamo puts at your disposal 14 bedrooms, of which:

2 Shared Classic rooms with private bathroom - can accommodate up to 3 beds; all with private bathroom.

7 large Classic rooms capable of accommodating 4 to 6 people, with a private bathroom inside, plus an external one.

5 Monastic rooms, deriving from the renovation of ancient monks' cells in the ancient part of the Monastery, terracotta floors and wooden ceilings.
