28 Day 200Hr Yoga Therapy Teacher Training

In yoga therapy we learn how to use yoga practices (asana, pranayama, mudra, meditation bandha) to help heal from specific ailments in the body. The process of yoga therapy is based on selecting the sequence of yoga to benefit the individual. According to Patanjali, yoga can be used to help people heal from and master discomfort, illness and dis-ease in the body.

In this Yoga Therapy Teacher Training Course Program one thing is very clear- that healing the body comes through traditional yoga practices and not through modern yoga. Modern yoga is indeed good to practice (Hatha, Astanga, Vinyasa), however, to deeply heal the body and focus on specific ailments, authentic and traditional practices are needed and utilized for maximum effect.

The 200-hour course is the perfect platform to learn to be an inspired teacher, while the training itself will give you a solid foundation in all aspects of yoga. The program is taught in a traditional and relaxed environment to encourage, support and guide one to learn more about oneself. Come prepared to be mentally and physically challenged ready to grow and expand in mind and spirit.

During the course you will develop your own personal daily practice, develop and practice daily pranayama, kriyas, mudras and dhyana, learn traditional yoga practice, study the Patanjali Yoga Sutras and learn how to incorporate them into your daily practice and life, learn how to structure a class and then incorporate all these components into designing your own class and study Yoga Therapy in depth.

In the evening, an almost supernatural breeze blows down the valley, setting temple bells ringing as sadhus, pilgrims and tourists prepare for the nightly ganga aarti - a fire offering or ritual performed on the Ganges.
