A good yoga teacher is required to efficiently perform the practical applications of class planning and preparation. Students will learn how to create a positive and peaceful class environment for an enjoyable and transformative experience.

Yoga philosophy will be the foundation of your yoga practice and is the key to yogic strength. Through the sacred path of Vedanta Philosophy, you will establish a solid, well-rounded yoga practice.

You will learn concepts of panchakosha(5 layers) and Trisharira(3 Bodies), Musculoskeletal system with insights to asanas, respiratory system mechanisms and therapeutic implications of Pranayama, circulatory, digestive, nervous, endocrine system, mechanisms and therapeutic implications of Shatkarma, mechanisms and therapeutic implications of Asanas.

In this class you will be learning yogic cleansing techniques which is very effective and good to remove many illnesses and open the body blockages.

You will be having classes on practicing different kinds of meditations such as: candle meditation, mantra chanting meditation, breathing meditation, bhajan, trataka, and silence practice meditation.

You will be learning the different salutations and the different poses that are essential to Hatha.

Your instructors will be teaching you Om chanting, MahaMrityunjaya Mantra, and Gayatri Mantra to help with your concentration. You will also be learning Guru Vandana and other Hindu prayers you would say before meals.​

The Pranamaya course Sllaybus includes introduction of Paranayama, meaning & definition, relavance of Pranayama in modern time, benefits of Pranayama, 5 Prana and components of Pranayama, preparation for Pranayama and different methods of Pranayama.

Sitting Postures course sllaybus includes: Dandasana - Staff pose; Paschimottanasana A to D Intense West - Stretch or sitting forward bend.

In this class, you will be learning the primary asanas and the basic poses that make up Ashtanga Yoga.

Certification

By the end of your teacher training course, you will be awarded with a 300-hour teacher training certificate from Yoga Alliance which will allow you to teach globally.

During your free time, you may walk around the area and visit places like the Kunjapuri Temple, situated in the lush hill where it was named after. This site is extremely important to Hindu legends and offers wonderful panoramic views of the land below and the horizon ahead. The Parmath Niketan Ashram is one of the oldest ashrams in Rishikesh where monks and saints meditate during the early evenings. There are bakeries around the area that sell sweet treats, as well, that are appealing to anyone's palate.

Food

During your entire stay, the carefully crafted meals will play a significant role on your health and wellbeing. You will follow the yogic diet with fruits, vegetables, greens and herbs, which will help you kick-start a healthy lifestyle and stay in proper physical and mental health! Vegan and gluten free diets are catered too also.

Sattvic foods help to calm our minds and purify our bodies by stimulating the mind and body to action. Freshly cooked food which is consumed no later than 3 to 4 hours of cooking can be considered sattvic. Rishikesh is the ideal destination for yoga lovers with different shalas and ashrams scattered across the city. Located at the base of the Himalayas, the city features a remarkable view of the mountains with the Ganga an energetic river ebbing at its feet.


Lakshman Jhula is actually an adjoining bridge across the Ganga, along the old route to the holy shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath. The Jhula has now become one of the most visited tourist spots of Rishikesh, not simply because of its ancient origin and religious sanctity, but also because of the grand temples and wonderful local market that have come to be developed around it. A thirteen story temple, called Terah Manzil, near the Lakshman Jhula, is very popular amongst visitors. The top floor of this temple gives a wonderful view of the surroundings.

Jolly Grant airport at Dehradun is the nearest airport to Rishikesh which is approximately 35 kilometres away. Popular carriers like Air India, Spice Jet and Jet Airways often have daily flights from New Delhi. Apart from Delhi, there is a flight from Lucknow to Dehradun as well. To commute to Rishikesh via land, there are tongas, taxis and rickshaws available. Whereas from other cities and states, buses and trains are operated by state transport corporations and private operators. One can also hire private vehicles to get there.

The school is situated in the sacred and spiritual place in Rishikesh, India. It is known as the Capital city of Yoga. You can reach Rishikesh by following different routes. If you will be coming from the international airport in Delhi, you can book a direct flight to the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. It is also possible to take a bus as there are 24-hours operating buses running to and from Rishikesh. You may choose Dehradun or Haridwar, which are the main hubs close to Rishikesh.
