  Guatemalan Highlands, Guatemala

What lies in the breathtaking Guatemalan Highlands is the picturesque view of Lake Atitlan which is the deepest lake in Central America. Regarded as the most beautiful lake in the world, Lake Atitlan has been the home of Mayans' rich culture and tradition. It is Guatemala's most important tourist attraction as this place is filled with early histories.

Lake Atitlan is also known for its unique climate they called Xocomil, which is said to be the encounter of warm winds from Pacific meeting colder winds from the North. This lake is surrounded by many villages and one of them is Santiago Atitlan, which is also the largest lakeside community. It is also a home to a strong yoga culture and it is located at the Solola District of the southwestern Guatemala.
