Anjili travelled to India 2009 where she completed her Yoga Alliance certified 200-hr teacher training with Lalit Kumar and Himalaya Yoga Valley. The program focused heavily on traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga as an 8-Limbed Path. She continued to live and study with various Indian teachers in Rishikesh and Mysore, developing a deep connection to the traditional aspects of Yoga as a complete system and lifestyle. She went on to complete her 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified program with Vedantin and SchoolYoga Insitute in 2011, in the Mayan Highlands of Guatemala. This program is focused on Sadhana Yoga, the path of Spiritual Discipline, and provided a deep connection of yoga to the ancient mysteries.
She continued on to complete more than 1000 hours of training with SYI and has completed other advanced yoga, meditation trainings and workshops with many respected and experienced teachers from all over the world. She then moved on to create and establish Sadhana Yoga School with her partner Bryan Russell and together they continue to share their love of yoga around the globe as well as within their home community where they own and operate Keene Yoga Center. She is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 and is a member of International Association of Yoga Therapists.
