Many different styles of Asana is offered to give you an all round understanding. The facilitators believe you need to have a variety of skills in Teaching to be able to offer classes available to everyone and not be limited by one style. 

They also feel it is of the utmost importance to understand your specific needs in regards to your own personal yoga practice. Teachers are there, to get to know you personally so they can help guide you in what practices will be most beneficial for the evolvement of your Sadhana.

There is a beautiful cafe where the training is held. It is committed to offering tasty, healthy vegetarian food, all with vegan options. The cafe offers a range of organic spelt, sourdough and gluten free breads baked in house as well as an eclectic menu of dishes from around the world. Sourcing the best organic produce the chefs create changing menus of scrumptious dishes, savoury and sweet, alive with colour and flavour. The cafe does their best to support the environment in as many ways as possible.

Meals can be enjoyed on site or at the numerous healthy cafes, Balinese warungs or international restaurants as you please. There are plenty of healthy options that cater to all tastes and preferences in Ubud.

Meet The Facilitators

 

Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

Vinyasa Flow style asana, movement with breath transitioning from pose to pose, also alignment focused asana, restorative/Yin Yoga.

Guided meditation including silent meditation techniques are taught and practiced. 

Guided breathing techniques are taught and practiced for energising, grounding and clearing the body and mind.

Prop usage, modifications of postures, sequencing, adjusting skills, asana & body assessment, personal programs, teaching beginners, injury prevention, female/male reproductive health are covered.

Ethics related to yoga teachers and how to abide by classroom etiquette are explored.

Teachings include History of Yoga, Different Yogic paths. Mantra, Chanting, Chakras, Nadis, Yamas & Niyamas, Patanjalis Yoga Sutra’s.

The skeletal, muscular, respiratory, nervous & endocrine systems including movement of joints & it’s application to yoga are taught in depth.

You will learn to practice and teach on a individual level specific to your own needs or the needs of your student.

Analytical training in how to teach and practice yoga asanas with safe anatomical alignment.

Practical teaching in small groups & class, assisting in class with critique and feed back given.

Yoga Psychology/philosophy, self Introspection, understanding workings of yoga & mind will be covered.

You will learn how to be clear, confident and concise with your teaching instruction. These classes will help you to understand the principles of Ayurveda and how to teach according to Ayurvedic constitutional types.

Certification

With full attendance and upon completion of both written and practical exams, students will receive a 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved teaching certification that is recognised globally.

Ubud is located in the middle of Bali, and if you're planning on getting there via flight, you need to go to the Denpasar Bali Airport, which is located on the southern tip of the island. From there you can either rent a car or take a bus,taxi to get to Ubud. distance is about 15 miles and it will take you about 70 minutes drive to get to your location from the airport.
