Coral reefs, found 300 meters off the beach, are protected by law to ensure that this haven is nurtured and maintained.

This tropical oasis makes anyone feel a strong connection with nature with its azure waters gently crashing to the shore.

The closest airport is Koh Samui (USM) which has daily flights from Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore and Hong Kong. You can travel to Koh Phangan by ferry and the dock can be easily accessed from the airport. Ferries depart several times a day with the last one around dusk.

Food

During the teacher training, you can expect the most amazing vegetarian food per day from breakfast to dinner. Because all members of the resort want to take care of your nourishment and health after the intense yoga, you can look forward to full plates of delicious and delectable meals every day. Herbal tea will also be available in every meal to aid you in your holistic health overhaul. You can pick from omelettes, om bowl, fruits, muesli, yogurt, honey, eggs, toast, hash browns, eggplant, toast and veggies for breakfast. Veggie burgers, ananda bowls, curries, pad thai, Thai fried rice, chili basil, brahma bowl, pesto noodles and tomato basil salads. Fruits and even chocolate cakes are also available for your dessert.

The onsite restaurant caters to yogi preferences with an abundant selection of a Sattvic nature, prepared in a clean and wholesome environment with love. They offer a full selection of fresh vegetarian and vegan items, with daily specials and a variety of healthy dishes, including many international favourites offered at the request of guests. There is also a full selection of traditional Thai dishes on the menu along with a juice bar with fresh fruit and vegetable juices, fresh coconuts and shakes.

Syllabus

HOURS + TOPICS

This comprehensive teacher training will provide you with a comprehensive asana instruction in dynamic and yin forms, pose clinics and workshops. You will learn practical yoga anatomy and philosophy, dynamic and very hands on teaching curriculum – you will practice teaching both yin and yang forms. You will have an extensive practicum experiences including on line and in person experiences. Basic Sanskrit, ethics of teaching and scope of practice, yoga for self care and self healing and the yoga lifestyle will also be covered.

Certification

Graduation Certificates will be presented in a graduation ceremony, or emailed 14 days after completion of the YTT in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Yoga Alliance. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to register with Yoga Alliance to obtain the designation of 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, which enables you to teach worldwide.

The Resort caters to those seeking a relaxing, and rejuvenating experience. Their yoga studio is 15m x 10m, making it one of the biggest in Thailand. The resort also showcases a traditional herbal steam sauna where you can relax and enjoy its many benefits such as reducing high cholesterol levels, treatment of skin diseases and more. You can also enjoy other services like the herbal steaming massage in this revitalizing sauna nestled among herbs and local plants, high off the ground.

The venue also has a natural swimming pool, open all day and evening for a refreshing swim or for relaxing in the sun. If you are coming from outside of Thailand, then the first step on the journey is to get to Bangkok. Once in Thailand, you have a number of options depending on your preference, time, and budget. The most direct way to Koh Phangan is to fly to Koh Samui, which has frequent flights from Bangkok, Krabi, Phuket and Pattaya. From there you can take a minibus to Maenam Beach pier and take a boat from there to Thong Sala on Koh Phangan.
