Summary

Taking part in this 100-hour yoga teacher training will be the start of a long and fascinating journey that will one day contribute to helping you become a teacher of Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga style.​


This two-week program, offered in two phases, is for yoga aspirants who desire to enhance their yogic understanding, yet who are constrained by time. Completion of both phases earns the student a 200-Hour yoga teacher certificate, eligible for membership with Yoga Alliance. 

Every day you will follow a deliberate and in-depth sequence of Yoga Asanas, with modification and balancing techniques; as well as through theory, studying the human body and its anatomy and the bones of the skeleton. 

By studying the great yoga philosophy and its history, you also enrich your level of cultural preparation and your understanding of the wise thoughts of its ancient masters. With the daily practice of pranayama (breathing exercises), you learn about all the benefits that it can offer as well as through the singing of mantras and group meditation. 


The course begins with your arrival on Sunday and the lessons starting on Monday. Courses always end on the Saturday of the fourteenth day at 7 pm. Check out on Sunday morning after breakfast.

Pancha Klesha (five causes of misery and pain)

Hatha yoga and Raja yoga

Social and personnel rules and regulations - Yama and Niyama

Pratyahara (Withdrawal of the mind from the senses)

Dhyana (meditation), Dhararana (concentration), Samadhi (self-realization)

Certification

Students joining for the 100-Hour certification are eligible to return to at a later date to complete their training towards the 200-Hr certification. Eligibility to register with the Yoga Alliance, USA, for their RYT-200 designation follows completion of the remaining 100 hours of training.

The monastery of San Girolamo puts at your disposal 14 bedrooms, of which:

2 Shared Classic rooms with private bathroom - can accommodate up to 3 beds; all with private bathroom.

7 large Classic rooms capable of accommodating 4 to 6 people, with a private bathroom inside, plus an external one.

5 Monastic rooms, deriving from the renovation of ancient monks' cells in the ancient part of the Monastery, terracotta floors and wooden ceilings.

The nearest airport is Federico Fellini International Airport (RMI), but you can also fly into Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) or Ancona Falconara Airport (AOI).
