Join Jiva Healing on this 3-day Creative Cooking & Yoga Retreat where you will have the opportunity to take part in cooking classes which will help you and teach you on how to become more creative in the kitchen. You will learn how to make meals that are healthy, satisfying and fun. You will learn about macro-nutrient balance, times of the day for optimal digestion and assimilation, and also gain knowledge on how stress affects digestion and why it's important to relax while eating. You will also learn about common allergens in food and how to easily avoid them as well as effective ways of balancing blood sugar. All recipes will be vegetarian and dairy and gluten-free.

More and more research is showing the important role that stress-reduction plays with illness on many levels. This weekend retreat will teach you the importance of slowing down and relaxing, and what that can mean for digestion, assimilation, energy levels and your overall health and wellbeing. TIME OFF Your afternoons are your free time to explore the Littleton Mill area or even the surrounding towns or villages. The Mill is just a few minutes away from the Kennet and Avon canal, a great place for walking, cycling or boating. You can also take a dip in the pool, get a massages or take a quick nap and rest in the comfort of your own bedroom.

Venue   Littleton Mill

Littleton Mill is a 17th Century Wiltshire water mill that has been lovingly restored by owners Melissa and Richard Kendall into a health and wellbeing retreat centre and home.

The Mill is set in ten acres of woodland and meadows and is situated on Semington Brook, minutes away from the Kennet and Avon Canal. It houses a large yoga space with original beams and gorgeous views out over the water. There are five double and twin rooms, some en-suite and some with shared bathrooms, all finished to a high standard.

To reach Littleton Mill by train, there are regular train lines to London operating from Chippenham and Westbury. Trains to Chippenham go from London Paddington and take around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Trains to Westbury from London Paddington and London Waterloo take around 1 hour 30 minutes. The centre can pick you up at the station for a small fee, or organise a taxi for you which you may be able to share with other guests. If you prefer to drive by car, Littleton Mill is situated on the A361 between Trowbridge and Devizes, about half a mile east of the junction with the A350. The nearest airport to Littleton Mill is Bristol which is about 35 miles or 1 hour and 10 minutes away.



You will be served delicious vegetarian meals that are dairy and gluten-free during your retreat. More than just consuming healthy and nourishing dishes, this retreat will also help you learn how to create meals that are both healthy and satisfying. You will learn different styles of healthy cooking as well as undertake nutrition classes to get a complete view of how to nourish yourself optimally. You will also learn about allergens in your food and how to avoid them as well as how to balance your blood sugar levels. Cook well and eat well during this retreat, sharing melas with the lovely group. Learn the tricks of the trade to nourish yourself and impress friends and family upon your return home!

Wiltshire is an ancient county of unspoiled quiet beauty. Littleton is located between the villages of Semington and Seend. The nearest towns are Trowbridge, 10 minutes away; Chippenham, 15 minutes away; Bath 20 minutes away; and Melksham, 5 minutes away. There are numerous historic places of interest and areas of natural beauty to visit in the surrounding areas. 

Visit the Trowbridge Museum that tells the story of a thousand years worth of history of Wiltshire’s County Town, from its Saxon estate, Medieval Castle, and as the centre of West of England woollen cloth production in the industrial period. Visit the famous landmark in Chippenham, the original Buttercross, a stone structure, which was erected in 1570 and stood at the centre of the Shambles, at the current location of Barclays Bank. Melksham, which only 5 minutes away, is a lovely market town situated on the banks of the Bristol Avon. Melksham has a wealth of clubs and societies for all ages and tastes.
