Just outside the hand-carved wooden gates sits the 9th century Goa Gajah, or Elephant Cave mentioned in 14th century Javanese poetry. Also nearby is Yeh Pulu, a massive series of fantastical 14th century stone carvings of people and puppets nestled in the earth between the rice fields and the flowing waters of Pekerisan River.

All twenty art-filled refuges will please romantic escapists and active explorers alike. With One Bedroom Suites that overlook lotus ponds, One Bedroom Pool Villas where guests can do more than just plunge, Family Villas for ultimate togetherness and a one-of-a-kind Two Bedroom Estate suitable for Balinese royalty we have accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

Accommodations

Food

It’s not purely the just-picked herbs and vegetables from the surrounding organic gardens that make the Asian and Western cuisine of the restaurant exceptional. Executive Chef Khairudin ‘Dean’ Nor is driven by providing sumptuous luxury dining experiences, including local dishes such as nasi campur and ayam sambal tomat. Each item are made with authentic “bumbu” spices by their very own resident “Mama Bali”: Ibu Ni Myoman Adriani.

The rice that accompanies the Balinese cuisine comes straight from the same surrounding paddies, while Western and Asian specialties benefit from 17 years of professional experience working on an island renowned for its cultural affinity to good food.

If you’re looking for something a little more private, you have the option to plan candlelit dinner in your very own room. Simply speak to your butler and the staff will handle the rest.

Daily breakfast, snacks, afternoon tea and drinks and included in your retreat.

  Bali, Indonesia

Bali is most known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The weather is fairly even all year round making it a perfect holiday destination.

Along the southern coastline, you can find popular beaches and surf spots such as Kuta, Seminyak and Uluwatu. As you venture in land, you’ll discover Ubud, which is the gem for yoga and spiritual practice. Born to stardom by the bestselling book Eat, Pray Love, Ubud is home to many yoga centers, healthy restaurants, cafes and streets of local shops. The soft temple bells encapsulate Ubud’s magic with historic temples built on almost every street corner. Spend a few days in Ubud to appreciate it properly. It's one of those places where days can become weeks and weeks become months. If you’re here, don’t forget to visit the infamous Monkey Forest.

There are international flights daily to Depensar International airport from all over the world. And the best way to get around in Bali is by car service which you can organize ahead of time or right at the airport. There are plenty of drivers awaiting guests to the country who are happy to take you directly to your desired location with a smile.
