This course gives the opportunity to gain more experience in yoga so you can become a more knowledgeable yoga teacher. The teaching style is straightforward and heartfelt, with a judicious mix of traditional knowledge and modern methodologies.

This is a non-profit making organization founded in the year 2006 by a group of young, motivated Rishikesh residents as an initiative to spread the eternal message of yoga in a way that is contemporary and accessible to all. 

The focus is on laying a firm foundation of yogic insights rooted in ancient wisdom, in the hearts and minds of all who come.

Yoga asanas can help with the recovery and management of many common diseases and disorders. This class will provide students with an introduction to the anatomy and pathology of common health issues that can be dealt through diet, asana, and pranayama practice. In recent times, a large majority of people are seen switching to organic and holistic options for their physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Individuals are mostly making lifestyle alterations that can have a positive influence on their lives. Yoga asanas are a key element of adopting a 'Sattvic' lifestyle and has several underlying benefits to it. Some of the commonly known physical benefits of asanas include improving flexibility, strength and balance. Its mental benefits include easing anxiety and stress. It has several other benefits such as improving conditions for Asthmatics and helping manage a slew of chronic diseases like Diabetes, Heart disease, Bronchitis and more. Regular Yoga practices increase the mindfulness of the body and help have better control over the breathing cycle.

Students will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga in order to strengthen their classroom explanations, cues, and corrections of asana. If you aim at becoming a yoga practitioner, it is vital to understand the functioning of the human body. As mentioned earlier, asanas have several underlying benefits to the body, and understanding the body helps you understand which Asanas to practice to strengthen each part of the body. Yoga involves stretching which lightens and re-aligns the muscle fibers, a strong understanding of the anatomy will help you be more attuned to your body and the changes happening in it.

Yoga philosophy will cover the history and science behind the study of Yoga such as the understanding of the five elementary principles of Yogic practice; breathing, proper exercise, relaxation, diet and meditation. Part of the 300-hour Yoga Teacher training, the Yoga philosophy class aims at equipping you with in-depth knowledge and understanding of Yoga not just in terms of postures, but the 'why' behind them. This class will prepare students to study and understand Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Once a week, students will lead a discussion reflecting on the week's readings. Before class, students should write down one question on a notecard directly related to the day's reading and give this to the teacher at the start of class. This is aimed at improving classroom engagement and retention of the day's teachings.

Students will learn techniques to open vital energy centers in the body with a goal of becoming proficient enough to teach these skills to their students. Practical teaching experience will begin from the second week.

More than the famous river rafting in Rishikesh, there are number of activities you can do during your free time. if you're adventurous, you can do bungee jumping, air safari, trekking and more. If you want to relax, there's always time to visit the temples and ashrams nearby or visit the sacred river Ganja for inspiration and an insight into Indian and Yogic culture at its purest.


Taste a myriad of healthy Indian spices and flavours. During the course, you will be trained to understand and embody yogic discipline and diet which means healing the body not only from the outside but on the inside as well. Expect a full vegetarian cuisine during your course. You will be served with three healthy delicious meals a day to complement your training. To get a taste of what's in store, think of fresh vegetables mixed with India's famous and aromatic spices. The Arhar dal, a dish made with beans contain nutritious ingredients and one serving is approximately only 53 calories. The Bhindi ki subji is a simple vegetarian dish with a flavourful taste because it has hot chapatis or parathas. You can also munch on some healthy and vegetarian kabab, containing some of the most aromatic spices. Who says you can't eat healthy dishes with marvelous tastes? In fact, there are plenty healthy Indian dishes which can be cooked in multitude of ways to retain its nutrients and not compromise on flavour.

Patna is the ancient city located in the south bank of the Ganges River. It's the dusty rustic kind, with old sputtering cars and large buses crowding the busy street. The buildings and markets give off a traditional architecture, its brown walls reminiscent of the Old India.
