41 Day 300 Hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

This 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training offers you the opportunity to take your practice and your teaching to the next level.

The training is designed to take you into the more subtle aspects of the practice of Yoga, not always given proper emphasis in today’s yoga studios.

The training develops in three stages: Advanced Hatha Yoga & Pranayama, Yin Yoga & Meditation and a 7-Day Silent Retreat.

This 300Hr training is an immersion into breath based Hatha Yoga asana and advanced pranayama practices.

A real practice of pranayama means understanding the chakras and the inner anatomy.

The 7-day Retreat is an immersion into the silence that is your own True Nature.

Artfully blending meditation and Yoga techniques, contemplation and inquiry help us to move away from the space of the mind and the ego, and recognize the true space of Inner Silence.

While the idea of seven days of silence can seem intimidating, silence and stillness are natural to human life. In daily life, it is hard to find the time and space to recognize the deep stillness and peace that are fundamental to human life.

Enjoy a structured and loving space designed for the simple recognition of your own silence. Meditation based on self-inquiry can lead you quickly from the chaos of the mind into the stillness and peace that is your natural state.

Yin and Yang express the polarities of life: the masculine and the feminine, the giving and receiving, the outward and the inward moving. Ancient Taoists imbibed harmony from nature, and taught inner wisdom though the balance of Yin and Yang. Today’s world, even in the Yoga community, is a world dominated by Yang energy.

Yin Yoga & meditation is an opportunity to slow down and discover what is at the heart of the inward journey – to honor the Yin, and uncover the transformative power of Yin through our practice of Yoga.

The course runs six days a week, with a weekly day off for rest and exploration. The magnificent tropical setting provides many occasions to tune into the natural beauty, especially on our rest days.

Included in the course is your accommodation, daily breakfast and your certificate of achievement.

HOURS + TOPICS

The 7-Day Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreat is designed to facilitate this experience through an artful integration of a variety of practices, including meditation, Yoga asanas, breath work and more. In the theoretical parts we will address different perspectives on the Spiritual Heart from a various traditions, including Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, Tantrism, Kashmir Shaivism, and Sufism.

This 7-day program is full to the brim with practice. To ease you into the process, we build up gradually. We provide useful props, information & inspiration, and alternate between sitting, standing, and walking meditation, as well as Yoga asanas, breath work, and lectures. The refreshing variety of these elements will certainly allow the flow to unfold in a harmonious way.

Yin Yoga is made up of 23 poses, and each of these will be covered in detail and regularly practiced during our training. The meditation part of this module will focus mainly on Spiritual Heart meditation with an emphasis on heart centering, pauses between breathing, and capturing the uncaught mind. This training gives a lot of importance to the physical and anatomical perspective of Yin Yoga, but we will also look deeply at the practice from an energetic standpoint. The influence of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the related meridian system is fundamental in Yin Yoga.

Breath and energy based Hatha Yoga, pranayama, chakras, and mudras will all be covered in this comprehensive training. More than theory, we hope that this course will be a doorway into your own experience of breath and energy. Once you have realized the power of simple breath based Hatha Yoga it will not only influence your practice, but have a profound effect on how your share Yoga with your community.

Certification

Upon successful graduation you will receive an officially recognized Yoga Instructor Certificate. With this degree you are authorized to become a Registered Yoga Teacher and a member of the renowned Yoga Alliance (RYT-300). Additionally staff provide a personal letter of recommendation, and offer continuing assistance in their long-term support program.
