Albufeira is situated in Algarve, a tourist spot that was once a small fishing village. The place is often visited during the holidays for the beach, climate, and atmosphere. Algarve's selling point is its extended coastline that features numerous beaches. The place is usually decked out with parasols and tables, with tourists dining at the many restaurants you would find there.

Getting around Albufeira, and subsequently, Olhos de Água, is easy as there are local buses, taxis and car rentals. Getting to Albufeira is possible through train, bus, and by plane.
