Anand Yoga Village is a holiday yoga village at the quiet and serene south end of Palolem Beach in South Goa. They offer a daily schedule of all things yoga, a menu of healthy and delicious food, and lovely beach huts to stay in. If you are interested in learning a new yoga practice, or developing your current practice, if you want to stay a week, or the whole season, all are welcome to come and join in creating and enjoying a simple, beach side yoga lifestyle together.
Anand Yoga Village is a community of individuals who want to enjoy their practice of yoga in the beautiful surroundings of Palolem, Goa. Anand Yoga is all-inclusive and suitable for all ability levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners who simply want to focus on their personal practice. The daily programme includes Asana practice, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Chanting Sutras, Restorative/Yin Yoga and much more. The schedule includes time each day to explore Palolem and the surrounding areas, all classes are optional, you are not obliged to do all of them... unless you want to of course! Get to know your fellow practitioners, eat together, rest on the many sun-loungers on the beach, or catch some live music at one of the beach bars. There is something for everyone in Palolem.
Becky Khalil is a E-RYT 500 certified yoga teacher who specialises in Yin yoga and fascial studies. After completing her Masters Degree in International Development with Tourism she moved to Latin America to work in community development, where she started teaching yoga. She followed her passion of teaching and learning from Guatemala and Ecuador to Panama, England, Indonesia, Taiwan, and India.
After completing several vipassana meditation courses, studies with an acupuncturist and multiple studies of anatomy, as well as a variety of yoga teacher training courses, Becky has facilitated many courses that include asana, meditation and concentration practice, anatomy, alignment and adjustment, and the art of teaching.
Becky takes pride in sharing the education of yoga through its tradition, anatomy, the bio-individuality of the body, fascial living energy web of connective tissue, Chinese Medicine and its 5 Elements, alignment of the body, and the art of teaching all over the world.
