Travel to this this eco-guesthouse in the Amazon’s mountainous jungle, spend time coming back to yourself in this astounding natural environment.

This fun retreat includes morning and afternoon SUP yoga classes in the gorgeous natural spring. If, at times the weather is not suitable, on land yoga sessions would be held in a stunning yoga space which looks out on the surrounding natural beauty.

The soundscape, the natural chorus of wind, birds, monkeys and insects, will transport you to a place of natural serenity deep within yourself during your practice; especially in Savasana, the final resting pose.

For the SUP, the 360-degree view that this practice offers in inversions is spectacular. On the water, one feels totally connected with the environment. In addition, practicing yoga on a paddle board is challenging as being on an unstable surface increases the intensity of the practice, making it a complete workout.

Meditating on water is an experience not to be missed either. And you will soak up all the benefits of your practice in Savasana looking at the world upside down while floating with the water caressing your dangling fingers. Bliss! This practice feeds the soul. Come experience the freedom.

This fun all-inclusive wellness retreat will help you connect with nature and take your yoga practice to a new level.

The cost of this retreat includes 6 SUP yoga classes in the gorgeous lagoon, premium quality SUP yoga equipment, 4-night cozy accommodation, delicious and nourishing whole-food plant-based breakfasts, lunches and suppers.

Location

San Martin, Peru

Known as the City of Palms, Tarapoto is in the district of San Martin, located on the high jungle plateau in the northern part of Peru. Tarapoto features some of the most spectacular natural beauty. There are various scenic outlooks, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, fauna and flora of all sorts, and some of the most interesting people in the world live in this area.

Tarapoto is often used as a "jump off" point for excursions into the vast Amazon rainforest where diversity in species reaches its maximum expression such as in Tingana and Pacaya Samiria national reserve and for tours of the North East of Peru including the Chachapoyas culture in Amazonas with its fascinating but not well known archaeology and history, the Gran Vilaya ruins and the Kuelap fortress (Machu Picchu of the North).

Tarapoto has a myriad of restaurants, hotels, local markets, and other natural attractions that would interest tourists from all walks of life. Tarapoto has a rich cultural heritage and many historic landmarks nearby. Indeed, it is a perfect place to discover and learn more about this exotic country.

Furthermore, beautiful landscapes, amazing waterfalls, lagoons, orchids, adventure tourism such as river rafting and hiking in the tropical Andes and bird watching attract numerous visitors to this area. LATAM, Star Peru, Peruvian Airlines and Viva Air fly between Lima and Tarapoto.

Food

Guests rave about the meals served! Wholesome vegetarian (mostly vegan) meals are prepared fresh three times daily. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and seasonal. Some of the fruits come from their own trees (citrus, papayas, mangoes, bananas, star fruit, among others). Special dietary requests are always met.
