7 Day Ibiza Yoga Finca Retreat, Yoga Weeks

A classic abode with a modern twist, Ibiza Finca sits on a small hill surrounded by pine trees and verdant lands. This paradise is just a few minutes’ walk away from the village of San Carlos where nature’s beauty and treasures abound.

Step away from work and routine and immerse yourself in a week of daily yoga practice, delicious vegetarian food, a very healthy amount of sun, fun and free time to relax by the pool and discover this truly magical, multifaceted Island.

The style of yoga is Vinyasa, with influences from the Ashtanga primary series. The classes will stay dynamic, building up each day towards a stronger practice, deepening your knowledge of the key postures, as you learn how to create a self-practice for yourself. The aim is for you to leave the retreat with a grounded practice, and seeing progress in the areas you choose to focus on. At the end of each class, there will be breathing exercises as well as guided meditation and relaxation. The evening classes will be a consolidation of the morning class, as well as restorative postures and relaxation.

Ibiza is renowned as a great hub for wellness and holistic therapies. There is a selection of fantastic alternatives therapies on offer to complement the retreat including massage, energy healing, reiki, coaching and nutritional assessments.

The venue is only 10 minutes drive away from some of the nicest beaches on the Island and the little city of Santa Eularia, with shops and many restaurants. The Village of San Carlos, just a few minutes’ walk away, has a few cafes, restaurants and the famous Hippy Market, Las Dalias. Over the summer there is also a night market with live bands, chill out areas and food stalls.

The cost of this retreat includes accommodation, individual wellness consultation, yoga classes, vegetarian brunch, light supper and access to all the facilities. Yoga Weeks offers you the best of both worlds - the serenity of the house surrounded by nature, and a short walk away to the beautiful village have a coffee and watch the world go by.

Meet The Facilitators

Venue   Yoga Finca

The Yoga Finca is a very spacious and charming house, with all modern comfort and facilities. There are 2 living rooms, a dining room, 3 terraces and roof top. The house has a private swimming pool and sun lounges for a chilled afternoon in the sun. The bedrooms are spacious, with natural light and a lot of storage space. You can decide to choose a bedroom with en suite bathroom, or shared. Here, the team decided to create the best of both worlds - the serenity of the house surrounded by trees, and a short walk away to have a wonder in the village, have a coffee and watch the world.

Yoga Finca is 5 to 10 minutes’ drive away from some of the nicest beaches on the Island (Cala Nova, Es Figeral, Cala Llena and more). They are also 5 minutes’ drive away from the little city of Santa Eularia, with shops, many restaurants, also by the beach. The Village of San Carlos (minutes’ walk away), has a few cafes, restaurants. This is also where the famous Hippy Market, Las Dalias is (walking distance from the Finca).

Although it is not essential, the team recommends you rent a car, especially if you are an "explorer" type. The North and the South of the Island also have amazing beaches (like Benirras in the North) or Salinas in the South, as well as Es Vedra, a very emblematic and magnetic spot in Ibiza.

Taxis are available at the Ibiza Airport and, in many ways, this is certainly the easiest (but not the only) option. It will cost you approximately 35€ and the ride will take about 20 minutes. You can also decide to hire a car, a great option if you wish to go exploring the Island during your stay.

Accommodations

  Ibiza, Spain

Continuing north from Santa Eularia along the east coast of Ibiza is the small village of San Carlos. Located 22km northeast of Ibiza Town, this is a perfect lunch spot if you are exploring the island. To the south of the village are chimneys and ruined buildings, the remains of lead mines first exploited by the Carthaginians. The church is worth a visit with an elegant arcaded entrance. The pretty white 18th century church dominates the scene, as the road winds around the church to take you back out of the village. There are a few restaurants here, the best perhaps is Anita's Bar where you sit outside with some tapas and watch the world pass by.

Not far from the town to the south east are several pleasant beaches including the popular Cala Llenya and the quieter and more secluded cove of Cala Mastella. Cala Llenya is the perfect place to go after some lunch and shopping in San Carlos and can be found only 10 or minutes drive away on a direct road. Cala Mastella on the other hand is slightly more tricky to find with very little parking.

All of these can be found in Ibiza, one of the Balearic islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. It's well known for the lively nightlife in Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni, where major European nightclubs have summer outposts. It’s also home to quiet villages, yoga retreats and beaches, from Platja d'en Bossa, lined with hotels, bars and shops, to quieter sandy coves backed by pine-clad hills found all around the coast.

There are direct international flights to Ibiza and from the airport, you can either take a bus, rent a car, or ride a taxi. If you want a more scenic route, you can ride a boat on your way to the island.
