The tented camp furnishings are artisan and natural. The team believes in philantropic and authentic adventures, through sustainable tourism; learning about yourself by experiencing the world. Camp Adounia is an ecological camp that gives back where it can, uplifting local communities in the process. At desert Camp Adounia you’ll gather around the camp fire with Sahara nomads and find inspiration on a camel ride in the majestic desert environment. You’ll discover a part of yourself traveling through ancient communities on this Moroccan journey through the Draa Valley to the region of M’hamid, Sahara.

Camel rides in the Sahara desert is an experience of a lifetime. Saharan nights are special, starting with an amazing desert sunset over the sand dunes, followed by delicious Moroccan food and finishing with a spectacular view of the milky way galaxy.

There are many sights and sounds for you to explore. An example would be the Draa Valley with its ocean of green palms and purple mountains. The Draa Valley once served as a link between the Sahara desert and the North of Morocco for the trading caravan route that passed by the river for centuries. Another is the main town of Zagora, a cool place to stop and buy a turban, if you so wish.

You can drive directly to the Desert Camp from Marrakech which takes 8 hours.
