Ubud is the spiritual heart of Bali, a majestic small town, surrounded by rice paddie fields and rainforest and dotted with Hindu temples and shrines everywhere.

Home to many yoga centers, health cafes and streets of local craft shops. The soft temple bells encapsulate Ubud’s magic with historic temples built on almost every street corner. 

There are international flights daily to Denpasar International airport from all over the world. The best way to get around in Bali is by car service and the journey to Ubud from the airport will take at least one hour. 

Food

It's important to nourish the body and mind by delighting the senses through wholesome, healthy food and a beautiful atmosphere. Guests can enjoy meals in the privacy of their own balconies or gather and connect at the lovely communal dining table which seats up to 25. The kitchen team pride themselves on sourcing garden-fresh local organic produce daily to create meals that will support your individual needs. 

The specialty is Balinese food, and will provide guests with a wonderful introduction to the delights of the local cuisine. The kitchen also offers a wonderful array of international, vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.

Fly in and out of DPS Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport, is the main airport in Bali, located 13 km south of Denpasar. You can arrive anytime on the 25th however it’s best to arrive by midday to get to the retreat center before dinner. Although transport from airport is not provided, the  organiser will set it all up for you and help you carpool to save on costs.
