The primary focus of the retreat is to empower you to take control of your own health. More than just sticking to a diet or slogging away in the gym for hours every day, this retreat believes in balance and finding a way to manage the weight while living life.
This retreat involves weight loss, but it isn’t the sole focus. This retreat will help you continue to manage your weight from this point forward. Psychologically, underlying issues will also be looked into that may be inhibiting you from achieving a body you are proud of. This retreat will motivate you to make the necessary changes to achieve a healthy, wholesome diet that supports your body and makes it stronger, fitter and healthier so you can live the life you want.
You will look at different types of food and be shown how they affect your body’s internal environment. Everyone has a different body chemistry; it is important to understand ourselves better, know which foods and drinks aggravate our systems and which are more suitable for us. Through educational talks and workshops and one-on-one sessions, the Weight Management retreat aims to enable you to make conscious decisions about the food you eat.
You will also look at your body composition and work on increasing lean muscle mass and burning fat. Weight becomes irrelevant when your body tissues are in the right proportions to support your skeleton and internal organs, improve your posture and make your body strong, supple and mobile.
You will be coached in a range of exercise techniques including yoga, power yoga, beachside fitness, cardio and weight training, and shown how these can easily be implemented into your daily life on return to 'the real world'.
The retreat package includes your accommodation, daily educational talks, presentations, workshops and informal group sessions, daily yoga and relaxation sessions, daily guided meditation sessions or workshops, two daily holistic treatments from across the globe, daily herbal steam therapy, a daily schedule of natural and Ayurvedic products and supplements and superfoods, daily fruit, vegetable and herb juices, daily personalized, nutritionally-balanced vegetarian meal plans, one daily session of colon cleansing, a personal diet and nutrition consultation and personalized planning, and an exclusive one-to-one session of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) or hypnotherapy. You will also receive before and after assessments including: Ph balance, body composition analysis, biological age assessment, vital total body measurements and vital assessment.
