Yoga has been unconsciously part of Donatella's life since her adolescence when for the first time she approached spirituality, family difficulties pushed her even more to find answers to questions that arose spontaneously. Her path was therefore directed towards what she thought could be her cause of life, art, and faith.
With the study of movement, dance, she began to perceive her body in space and experience what she will later recognize as a discipline, trust, and perseverance. She always has given more importance to the expression of movement than to the rigid technique with which she confronted herself every day, but actually she says rigidity was in her mind and the conflicts she had with her body moved her away from the center. But she never stopped looking.
In 2016 she moved to China, in Macau, and she met Victor Kumar who introduced her to Yoga, She studied with him for two years before returning to Italy and with this experience in her heart, she decided to deepen her studies.
On her return to Italy, she completed RYT 500H in two years, graduating as Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher in the YogaMea School, in Misano Adriatico, thanks to the teaching and continuous support of Timea Vitez. Here the teachers offered her to join the team and she says they gave to her the opportunity to continue feeding, researching, and sharing her path with others.
Grateful for this opportunity in 2018 she started immediately to teach in Rome and cultivate herself as a yoga teacher. At the same time, she started to train as an actress and come back to the dance.
"Yoga and theater have allowed me to find that center, to recognize myself and find myself, to become aware of my body, my mind, my emotions and to perceive its union starting from the breath. Relaxation, grounding, and expansion lead me to see and feel every aspect of reality and to seek its faith. Art and spirituality come together in continuous research."
