Begin your path that will help you to become a certified Yoga Teacher. Start with this 50Hr Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in Italian Monastery. 

This 50-hour YTTC is a part of 200-hour teacher training courses for students who do not have the time to complete the 200-hour course in four consecutive weeks.

This seven-day training program for yoga teachers is designed to give you the appropriate understanding of practical Yoga and also its theory. Every day you will study in-depth revision of the Asanas, its sequences and balances, with a primary introduction on the emotional aspects of the meridians, the discovery of human musculature and skeletal variations. You will dive into the great philosophy of Yoga and its history, savoring the daily practices of breathing techniques (Pranayama) and mantras sung in Sanskrit.

On completion of all four weeks and having successfully passed the final exams that take place at the end of the final week, students will receive an international certificate : RYT 200 USA.

Certification

Students joining us for our 50-Hour certification are eligible to return at a later date to complete their training towards the 200-Hour certification. Eligibility to register with the Yoga Alliance, USA, for their RYT-200 designation follows completion of the remaining 150, 100 or 50 hours of training.

Food

Three vegetarian meals, plus tea, coffee and water daily are included in the price. The local organic products are prepared by the expert hands of the chef, in buffet style, served at the restaurant.

You will follow a Sattvic diet, which is a detoxifying food line. It is composed of a selection of plant-based foods, specially prepared to not weigh down our digestive phase, especially during an intensive workout. Following the guidelines of the elderly Indian Gurus, it has been designed to give body, mind and spirit a perfect harmony with each other and to obtain the maximum result from the activities carried out during the Yoga Retreat.

The term Sattvic in Sanskrit term means 'Pure' which means you will refrain from eating meat, fish, eggs, caffeine, theine, chemicals, preservatives, dyes, etc., also the administration of alcoholic beverages and the possibility of smoking.

Please note that this diet is only a suggestion, not an obligation. If you wish you can always request for a traditional menu at the cart and at no additional cost.

The monastery of San Girolamo puts at your disposal 14 bedrooms, of which:

2 Shared Classic rooms with private bathroom - can accommodate up to 3 beds; all with private bathroom.

7 large Classic rooms capable of accommodating 4 to 6 people, with a private bathroom inside, plus an external one.

5 Monastic rooms, deriving from the renovation of ancient monks' cells in the ancient part of the Monastery, terracotta floors and wooden ceilings.
