Accommodations

Food

Anamaya can cater to those who are strict vegetarians or vegans. The core of the Anamaya diet is lots of raw food, plenty of protein and healthy fats, minimal processing, lots of fruit, veggies especially greens, whole grains, minimal dairy and meat, and no junk food! They also use no white sugar and very little wheat, to suit people with sensitivities.

Anamaya Resort is dedicated to using organic produce whenever possible, and are constantly seeking out new sources of organic foods in Costa Rica. Some are grown locally and some are brought from other parts of Costa Rica, especially the higher altitudes where foods will grow organically that can’t survive the beach climate. In addition, they're working on importing some organic dry goods and spices that are unavailable locally.

Anamaya now grow some of their produce on their own farm at Rancho Delicioso, and are working to increase the percentage of their own crops. The food is so popular that due to guest requests Anamaya have released their own cook book for guests to take home the flavours of their experience.
