Kura Kura Yoga Retreat Bali is situated along a small river, a few steps away from the sea. With the beach close by, Kura Kura is a great location to discover yoga in Bali, connect with nature, be part of the rich ways of Balinese daily life and encounter the warmth of the Balinese people.
There are many temples, unspoiled rice fields and little traditional villages near by. If you want the ‘buzz’ of Seminyak, the closest is to walk along the beach to your left where you find Echo Beach, a famous surf spot with restaurants along the shore. Walking to the right along the beach you find quietness and temples.
The heart of Kura Kura is the yoga shala or community space next to the small pool. Most rooms are built around the pool. Rooms are clean and as fresh as the sea breeze, but protected and safe as the shield of a Kura Kura (Turtle). Being at Kura Kura means living close to nature with the rhythms of the sea and the music of birds singing in the coconut trees. You can hear the gamelan and mantras of the temple ceremonies near by.
Kura Kura can be found just before the palm tree road through rice fields ends in the Indian Ocean. Although secluded it is very close to uptown Seminyak and one hour of the International airport and Ubud. Drivers at the airport will offer transportation upon arrival.
