Europe is a great place to spend an extended period of time on an intensive teacher training.
It is so easy to get around with most of Europe on your doorstep before or after your course.
With its different cultures and places, all steeped in history, there is so much to see and do.
As with everywhere the coastline is always a draw.
Explore the coves, cliffs and fishing villages of Spain, Portugal & Greece.
Or the small Italian seaside towns in Tuscany or the Amalfi coast.
The Adriatic sea (Croatia), Aegean sea (Greek islands) and the endless
picturesque towns on the Mediterranean coastlines.
A tour, organised or independent, is a great idea and easy to organise here.
Everything is so well connected by train and plane and the countries & islands
of southern Europe are all easy & close to travel between.
You can travel from Spain, through the south of France and into Italy quickly and with ease.
Why not leave the hustle and bustle of the big cities behind and immerse yourself in southern Europe.
Established schools run the teacher trainings in Europe.
The schools are Yoga Alliance registered and will provide you with your RYT yoga instructor certification.
All courses will follow the set standard certification curriculum.
You will study pranayama, asanas, yoga teaching methodology,
meditation and all parts of a yoga lifestyle and philosophy.
Be sure to take care to find the yoga training that speaks to your heart.
Clean, fresh food and a beautiful coastline of hidden fishing villages.
Fast becoming yoga heaven with retreat centers and great surf too.
Spain has always been a top choice ... Barcelona, Ibiza or the Canary Islands
which are hot spots for health & yoga courses.
The intensive yoga courses generally last for one month. Some can be shorter.
The day will start early and finish early evening, with rest breaks and lunch.
The evenings will be your own.
One day off a week will provide the time to relax, recharge and contemplate the week just passed, and the week ahead on this life changing experience.
Most yoga schools ask for one year practice, some may accept 6 months.
In early days of practicing yoga your time is well spent checking out different yoga studios and classes with different teachers and styles.
This will let you know what yoga style you would like to certify in and the teaching philosophy you are interested in seeking out.
Yoga instructor courses take place all year round and in all parts of the world.
When you are choosing a yoga school and course it is important to read about it to understand if it meets your requirements.
