The intensive yoga courses generally last for one month. Some can be shorter.

The day will start early and finish early evening, with rest breaks and lunch.

The evenings will be your own.

One day off a week will provide the time to relax, recharge and contemplate the week just passed, and the week ahead on this life changing experience.

Maybe you would like to know who is writing all of this ...

Hi, my name is Kelly.

For the past decade, I have traveled and worked extensively across the world in health resorts and yoga retreats.

Teaching and inspiring people on how to live a simple, healthy and mindful lifestyle.

I am a 200hr YA approved yoga teacher, qualified raw vegan chef and certified holistic health coach.

Here is my personal YTT Story

When I took the leap and enrolled in my yoga teacher training, I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually be a yoga teacher.

I knew I loved practicing yoga, that it brought me joy, and that the idea
of spending a committed time learning more about the various aspects of yoga and deepening my own practice really intrigued and interested me.

After taking all the various aspects into consideration

- the location, price, syllabus and teaching staff

I knew that the training would be transformative and at times challenging, that it would be both physically and emotionally demanding,
and that above all it would be awakening and rewarding.

All of this proved to be true, but in ways so much greater than I could have imagined.

Everyday started at sunrise where we would meet in silence and move through
a three hour practice that involved meditation, pranayama, kriyas and asana.

This was my favorite part of every day and as the days passed I felt my body strengthening,
my mind opening, my breath deepening, and my energetic pathways aligning.

I eagerly devoured the daily lectures and workshops, fascinated by the other seven limbs
of yoga that move beyond the physical asana practice.

Learning about the deities, fumbling my way through Sanskrit, opening my eyes to
the anatomy behind each pose, trying mudras, mantras and Ayurvedic practices

- each day offered wisdom and experiences to yoga as a way of life.

The women that joined me in this journey became immediate family, in a way I have never experienced before.

Over the five week course, we all experienced roller coaster emotions

- we learned the greatest breakthroughs often come with the greatest breakdowns!

The unwavering support of the students and teaching faculty was remarkable and we were encouraged to show up daily,
perfectly imperfect, as we learned the ways in which we could support our own future students, also perfectly imperfect.

It is a tremendous understatement to say that my training changed me.

It went on to shape the next decade of my life, and I am sure, will continue to do so.

I gained a great deal of knowledge from my experience and the teaching materials.

Yet, this was only half of the learning journey. I dove into myself in ways I never had before.

I discovered strength, determination, surrender, compassion, generosity, initiative, and a powerful connection to my inner spirit.

I did go on to teach yoga, all over the world in fact, yet I made it a mission to not only teach yoga in a classroom,
but to share the gifts that yoga offers with everyone I came in contact with.

I can't really imagine where I would be now without having done my yoga teacher training.

It is equally a training in life, in self-care, and in recognizing our shared humanity.
