You will learn about mantra chanting which is essentially learning how to generate vibrations and connect with the universe. You will learn morning prayers, AUM Mantra, Guru Mantra, Gayatri Mantra, Samudra Vasane Mantra, Pavamana Mantra and Shanti Mantra.

You will gain extensive knowledge on yoga postures and will increase your strength, flexibility and discipline. You will learn joint movement exercises, warm up exercises, classical and traditional hatha postures and vinyasa flow yoga.

You will study the ancient yogic breathing techniques that are used as preparation for meditation. These techniques improve the respiratory system and purify the body and mind. You will learn fire breathing, belly breathing, alternate nostril breathing, sun energy activation breathing, moon energy activation breathing and more.

Delve into the practice of Mudra hand gestures. Practice Jnan Mudra, Chin Mudra, Bhairava Mudra, Hridaya Mudra and Vishnu Mudra.

Learning the practice of Bandhas expands the lung capacity and breathing capabilities during yoga. It also strengthens the entire body from the inside out. You will learn about Uddiyana Bandha, Jalandhar Bandha, Maha Bandha and Mula Bandha.

Experience the power of Meditation; Learn the basics of meditation, breath awareness meditation, mantra meditation, kundalini active meditation, dynamic meditation and om meditation.

Yoga Philosophy is the foundation of our yoga practice and is the key to earn yogic strength. Through the path of Vedanta Philosophy, you will establish a solid, well-rounded yoga practice.

Take turns in practicing you own teaching skills by performing in front of your peers and teachers. Practice demonstration, alignment and instructions. Learn about class planning and preparation and how to create a positive and peaceful class environment for an enjoyable and transformative experience.

Assessments are based on a written test, oral test, attendance and behaviour. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded with a 200 hour, Yoga Alliance approved Yoga Teacher certification that enables you to teach globally.

Muni Ki Reti is a small town near the pilgrimage city of Rishikesh. Literally meaning, “Sans of the Sages’ Muni Ki Reti is the home of many temples, ashrams, yoga centres and centers for meditation and Ayurveda. On the banks of the Ganges river, this town is considered to be the place where sages used to come to meditate.

Muni Ki Reti is traditionally considered the gateway for the Char Dham pilgrimage. Gradually over time as many more ahsrams were developed, Muni Ki Reti became a popular destination for yoga and meditation practitioners and seekers of Vedantic knowledge. For years boats were the only way to go across the Ganges where numerous ashrams lie, but in 1986, the construction of the Ram Jhula allowed easy access to the area.
