What a great idea, to consider completing your certification here in the spiritual heart of Bali.
Ubud is up high in the middle of Bali, in the very lush green center. Surrounded by rice paddy fields and a river flowing through steep rainforested ravines.
Many of Ubud's trainings can be found at luxury venues in the open space solitude of the paddy fields or perched in the treetops of the forest in the river valley.
The area has always been well known for it's cultural festivities such as Balinese dancing, and traditional hand crafts. You can feel the connection of the people and place to spirit here.
Dotted all around you will see shrines and temples adorning the landscape, even elaborate natural rock cut shrines.
You'll see shrines in the terraced rice fields too, which are probably the most well known image of Bali itself.
Ubud is Bali's cultural capital with art galleries, festivities and museums.
The amount of different registered yoga schools, courses, content focus and yoga styles available is enormous.

Ubud can get very busy in peak and high season, so maybe consider attending a month either side, maybe early May or late October?
